8th spot is there for the taking.

Happy - get over your issue with playing boring losing footy. I expect the team to always try and defend. I also expect them to attack.

We've just had a really poor balance for a while from when JT became coach. Yourself and the rest of JT's minions have to accept we aren't winning many games if we only score 4-6 points per game.

It was dumb tactics. JT seems to realize that or the players are overruling him. Personally I don't care which option has been taken but it's great to watch the footy and see us win some games.

At least we know one thing for sure this weekend , if we lose it's JT's fault , hey Steve ??

And before that it was Potter's fault

And before that it was Sheen's fault

I don't think it's the coach's fault if we lose. The only time I can honestly state that was when it came to some Sheenius team selections and Taylor like game plans.

It's a rare thing when the coach stuffs up the team. It's probably just as rare when they win games for you. Sheens has done both. Taylor one side of the equation. Unfortunately for us Taylor has lost us games and not yet won us games. I'd love to see that change.

So there it is

Your words , not mine or anyone else's

I'm sorry , that is just pure lunacy Steve

Happy - I think you should read what I posted. I said it's rare that a coach makes a significant difference to a team. I think Taylor has so far only impacted the team enough to push them on the losing side of the ledger.

Sheens won us games and lost us games. I think Potter had no impact over and above the team performing to their ability.

I think the best coaches rarely push the team to win games over and above the cattle that they have at their disposal. If you look at Bennet in relation to his teams for instance I think the only time he really made a massive positive difference was when he coached St George. At all other times the team probably performed to their ability.

I think taylor starting Farah on the bench has been massively positive for us.
He had the balls and the smarts to identify this. No one else even suggested or dared to do that.

I think that is an example of Taylor playing games. I don't think it's been a positive at all. It has worked in a couple of games but and we will never know this for a fact we might have gone just as good or better with Robbie on the field for the full 80\. I also think that this action is far from winning games for us. Compare that decision to Sheens getting a young team to play attacking footy and win the comp or Bennet taking a team like St George to winning the Grand final.

Overall I think that the way Taylor has managed Robbie has been terrible.

Well, i think he's been ordinary the last few years but looked rejuvenated off the bench. He's had a spring in his step.
It looks like Taylor is getting the best out of him.
Even if Farahs form if it due to spite. It's working.

This is a huge game in the context of our season. If we can win this, we are well-placed to make a run to final football. It will put us level with the Warriors and Dragons, and keep us in-check with the Titans and Panthers.

I would definitely take a form improvement due to spite over poor performances. I don't see it that way though.

Parra just got docked their 12 points, so that moves us up one slot. Still no big change for us as we still need to keep winning.
