Pauli Pauli is an absolute brute , could live with that Ink

Id love to see what Mitch Moses can do in the 9's with a free licence, a green light from JT…play what you see Mitch

I have heard Santi, Nathan Brown, Hoeter and Cherrington are all getting a run.

Had a chat to woodsy the other week, says that JT will not play any of the main boys who just played at the four nations.
Also said that JT does not give a sh*t about the 9's and will blood a lot of the younger fellas.

Woodsy had big wraps on JT , along with all the new trainers.
Also has big wraps on Matt Lodge and reckons Teddy is training the house down.

Makes sense to give the young guys a go. No point risking the established players plus we're quiet lucky that the young guys are all very good.

I think Funaki may get a run too.

We still have to play a few of our highest earners though. Lawrence, Moses, Galloway maybe?

Moses and Martin will be the halves with Brooks playing all stars.

The problem with showcasing someone like Martin at a tournament that he'd excel at like this is with him being off contract it could make it incredibly difficult to keep him. He could get a heap of offers straight away, if he hasn't already.

We need to keep him but with brooks and moses it will be tricky getting him to stay.

Would be surprised to see Brown get a run. but Liolevave will definitely play and could even be a shout for round 1 off the bench. He'd be ahead of Funaki.

Hopefully we can find a way to find a squad that can still be competitive with the least amount of risk to the big name players

Mobile hard working forwards and a speedy backline with a good organizing half/ hooker should suffice

GNR4LIFE,yes there probably will be an uproar if something happens, however if he is picked to play, then he is paid to play for WTs in what ever format they choose to play him in…

There's no way that any club would risk a top player in a nothing game like these unless he was completely fit. If there was the slightest doubt he would not be there, and even if all doubt was gone, why risk our most prolific attacking weapon in a game that no one will even remember in a months time.
I'd rather he missed another three or four games, than come back one week too soon. With him in the side and back to full fitness, and mentally strong, we just may be in with a chance in any game.
