Being out-played means that your opposition planned and prepared better than you did.
The difference between being out-talented and out-played is that being out-played is totally your own fault as you had complete control and responsibility over your own preparation. Hence a score line reflects one or the other. No myth here.

Our 7 and 6 only played for one half of football

Agreed, the forwards do their job well, nicely even, but they are the absolute thickest, dumbest team with the ball in the opposition half in rugby league history… they are just so absolutely incompetent at shape, ball movement and positioning I have ever seen. By a mile… always, always over run the ball, rub the wrong line and never ever support the ball carrier … almost like an under 8s team
Apart from the Brisbane game (and let’s face it they were on fire) we haven’t been thrashed at all. Haven’t played too well until today, but still hanging in there. Hopefully a win is not too far away 🙏🏼
No point looking for offloads - there’s no one interested or positioned for the unexpected, do we even train together during the week?
It’s like we’ve been introduced moments before kick off. I’ve never seen so much incompetence in a Tigers side - I don’t know who to blame for it all.

I see it more as our outside backs get given terrible, diabolical service from the halves,, our halves run sidewise, run them out of room, pass the ball behind them , late and with the defence already on them.. they put no doubt in the defence, make the decisions easy and must not communicate with them at all. I think even Greg Inglis and Turbo and Lattell even would struggle running off our halves
Sorry but that performance was no different to the past 5.
1. Opposition playing terribly
2. All the possession and field position in the first 10-20mins
3. Opposition gets into our red-zone for the first time = TRY
4. Heads go down = TRY, TRY, TRY
5. Opposition relaxes
6. Pretenders start to look good
Rinse and repeat.
