Finishing 3rd (which is most probable) could be a good thing.

The ladder is almost certainly going to be like this:

1\. drag
2\. pen
3\. tig
4\. tit
5\. roos
6\. war
7\. man
8\. can

We will play Warriors at SFS. I would put my house on a Tigers victory.

Then straight after i would also put money on Manly beating Penrith. I believe Penrith will loose because they have Petro, Walsh out. This potentially means we COULD gain the WEEK OFF.

Could this actually give us a better chance of gaining the wek off and letting Lawrence get back in time????
 
I was hoping we'd play the warriors. They travel poorly and usually can't handle our style!
 
The scenario you are discussing involves often canberra and manly winning….if the tigers were to lose that would mean we were out, so it does have a downside.

I however do think we should role the warrirors in sydney.
 
Personally, I'd much rather play Manly. I know that at times this year we have struggled against them but I think that the wheels are starting to fall off their team. They have been in poor form for quite a while now as they have some injuries to their key players and now Glen Stewart is suspended.
On the other hand I think that warriors MIGHT have something special this year and could really give the competition a shake.

How do you know we will play the Warriors? They could lose against Parramatta this round. How long is Walsh and Civoniceva out for?

Also with Civoniceva and Walsh out they could lose against Cronulla this round.
 
the biggest problem is the game will mean nothing if we win.. the stupid Mcintyer system allows that to happen 6th place can get a 2nd chance but 1st place cant if they win

Thats because 1st goes straight to the preliminary if they win.. do you want them to have two cracks at the prelim if they win??

Plus Manly will have a short turn around
 
As long we don't play Easts because we will lose our "home" ground advantage.
 
I wanted Manly, the Warriors do worry me a little, if they turn it on, they're hard to beat, although when they're off, they're rubbish (see Campbelltown game).

its totaly unfair that a 6th place team could get smahsed and get a 2nd chance and a first place tam can win and get knocked out without another chance makes the last 6 months useless

I rather we take Warriors then Manly.Warriors can fall apart and if we are consistent we can put the game to bed .Manly on the other hand have players that bother us and can offload all day .That fool who thinks he is king (Watmough) and ppl like Lyon have experience and composure..
So us to beat Manly we need our A game but to beat Warriors we can be patchy as long as ppl like Benji and Robbie do their bit to get us home
 
where not only dumb at playing footy where dumb off field too where going o take our home game to the roosters home ground becaue thats who where playing!! what the hell was the point of finishing top 4? we might as well have finished 6
