Its widely regarded that for a club to remain successful (or in our case, become successful), then one of two things need to happen, either get a new coach or have a high turnover of players.
It came to crunch time regarding our coach this year, and its painfully obvious which way the club has decided to go. Personally, im against it and would have made the easier, less painful and more logical move of freshening up the place with a new coach, but that isnt to be. So now its our players who are getting the shaft.
Local juniors and guys who came into first grade with us are making the sacrifice for one man's job. We've witnessed these players have highs and lows as they find their feet in first grade, and now it looks like we have to say goodbye. I hope whoever does end up leaving go on to have great careers, i wish them all the best.
One thing is for sure, Tim Sheens has not earned this right to shaft players, but, at least he's trying to do something rather than keeping things the same.

I said the same thing a few weeks ago–to keep a joint fresh you either turnover players or the coach. But in our case King Siro I really think its a combination of signing Blair and massive cap problems but in the end wash up it could be really good for our club. When you think of it none of the strong clubs were pulling their cheque books out for all the players we were trying to sell so maybe that says something.
So.........the jury will be out in a big big way regarding the decision by the board to go with one man over several homegrown players. I dare say, it better work, or god help Tim Sheens and the board.
