I know its cliché, but thank God you aren't in charge of our roster management. Shopping Esan around? I suggest going and having a lie down.

Yes that will be the problem. I think Russell is not too happy under Madge, he was Cleary's boy and he could bludge under Cleary without being dropped. Maybe Ivan will offer him a lifeline at Penrith, though barring injury I can't see him cracking a first grade spot there.

As for McQueen, he may have a chance of going back to the Titans - they think quite highly of him, otherwise it's looking like the ESL for Chris to earn some good money before retirement.

I am pretty sure Cleary tried to shop McQueen around last year without any unsuccessful buyers. The problem is noone is going to want these guys at what we are paying them, and if it gets to the situation where we pay half and another club pays half, I am not sure its worth it. Lets face it:

McQueen, Nofo, Packer, Reynolds, Mbye are all on EXTREMELY overflated contracts and I can't see anyone picking up all of it or the majority of it.

We have a few players i would let go but not Marsters as he is only young and just needs to understand the opportunity he actually has. I think I would drop him to Res for a week just to remind him that you need consistent performances to maintain you spot in 1st plus he needs to go back to the basics of just running hard as he is hard to tackle when on.....
No one is taking players off us unless desperate due to injuries etc... Not for the money we have them signed for anyway..
I have said this before we have a good young bunch of players but just lack a few major players to to replace the under performing ones that are playing 1st because we have no choice. IF we had 2 aggressive forwards with mongrel in them i think our halves / backs would kill it..

Kane Bradley is developing nicely in CC. He is 196 cm and 101 kg and is only 19 years old. He's eligible to for NRL selection after round 16. I suspect we will see him before the year is out.

Packer and Nofo need to go elsewhere.
There is a million dollars worth of NRL talent there on guys who can’t lock down a first grade contract.

Bit of a contradiction here...again how much will Wests Tigers be paying them to play for another Club...?
