A few signings I'd like

I would be tabling a decent offer for Widdop,is just what the tigers need,an experienced, level headed, leader on the field….imo with a guy like this in our team we win tight games like last week vs the storm. If moses or brooks go he slots straight in,if they stay and tedesco goes put moses to fullback and Widopp and brooks the halves.Could teach these young guys how to control a game.

I would swap brooks for mybe…..if the dogs pay half his wage. They are both worth barely $400-500k, if you use DCe, Thurston, Cronk etc. at $1m as benchmark

Are you serious?

Mbye is the worst half in the NRL - Brooks looks like a champion by comparison.

I think the point is they are both underpaid and underperforming. Mybe I think is a ball running 6, problem at the moment is so is Reynolds. Lichaa doesn't offer any variety at hooker.

Thinking about it more and more you if we can keep Moses we don't need another highly paid half we need someone who is defensively strong and consistent, not flashy

If we are going to have a complete clean-out, they are also going to have to look at the bottom end of the market to get some depth players there. I would consider:
Reimis Smith
Shem Tatupu
Jordan Drew
Kelepi Tanginoa
Jeremy Latimore

And how would that differ here? We would have two ball running 5/8 in Moses and Mbye. No way known is Moses anywhere near being a consistent, level headed 7 to lead a team.

Littlejohn is a defensively strong, non-flashy 7\. Let's see how they go.

I see Moses as being a 7 and playing both sides of the ruck like a Corey Norman and he was pretty good in that role at the back end of 2016, he did it on a much more consistent basis than brooks has ever managed.

But let's face it until we get a pack that can compete and 6&7 is going to struggle to play consistent football.

Kurt Dillon
Age: 22
Height: 190cm
Weight:106kg
Position😛rop

I can't find any information on a Bess Tomaga.

I work with Dillon's step mother, and subsequently have seen a lot of footage of him play. For my opinion, he is a hard running front rower and can put a shot on, but his play is only one dimensional. We need forwards who offer a bit more than we already have and I think this kid isn't the answer.

Mbye is the worst half in the NRL - Brooks looks like a champion by comparison.

And is on reportedly $650 a season at the Dogs.

I would like Whare, Tupou and Townsend in the back line and Alex Glenn up front with McQueen & Matulino. Asking too much? I might be dreaming with the idea of signing Glenn, but the others would all be possible I reckon.

We need some centres. Jamal is ordinary in attack our ball players need something to work with in attack. Wonder how we would be going if Simona was in side

Cleary will dump Jamal pretty quickly I reckon.

He actually went alright in defence to be fair, but he is fat and slow right now, so his attack is lacking and his strength and fitness looks down on what it has been in the past before he left the game.

If we do persist with him, Cleary needs to get him a personal trainer for 2-3 months.

I thought Idris went a bit better than previously as well (though still nowhere to where we need him to be)
Extras fitness/cardio for him wouldnt be a bad idea, the weather will assist him too as it cools into winter and we get some night games coming up

I like the look of that big Penrith prop Viliame Kikau - he's off contract for 2018\. He was pinched from the Cowboys by Cleary back in 2015 before he was named the under 20's prop of the year. He was injured all of 2016, but coming off the bench for Penrith this season he looks ready for regular NRL.

Mbye signed a four year deal worth $750,000 per year.

Correct me if I'm wrogn, but isn't Kikau a prop and a hooker.

I thdought Idris was one of our best the other day. Pulled off a try saver at one point.

His attack was non existent hence why they went right side the whole game . Halves have nothing to work with

Don't agree with that. Idris (although looking a bit unfit) was one of the bright spots in an otherwise miserable afternoon. Was bending the defensive line with his runs and defensively was pretty good.
