A heartfelt letter to Ivan Cleary

I would suggest Milky has adequately expressed the opinions of half of this forum. The other half may disagree with some of the information but I'm sure nearly all would agree with the sentiment.

Absolutely!

I just hope we're not all expecting miracles from Cleary though, I think we're still gonna have to go through quite a lot of pain before this team can be even just competitive, let alone winning matches. It's almost criminal that they weren't prepared properly over the off season and have literally gone backwards as a team - what the hell have they been doing?

About a quarter were on the good stuff apparently

Great post Milky, i dont agree with some of the content but i love your passion.

What our players need more than anything else is to find that passion to play for the WT's.

Be funny if it's not Cleary..

He was at training this morning, to be announced at 4pm.

Hey Milkster , don't worry what Russell says mate , he's suffering from Heartbreak overload since JT got the arse !

If you read what I wrote - you would not say that.

I was merely pointing out inaccuracies in his letter.

In principal I agreed with what he was saying - a lot of it was his opinion and that was fine - we are all entitled to our opinions. The point I was making was that it was not the opinions of all Wests Tigers supporters. Maybe you didn't read it in your rush to try and sink the boot in.

I made no secret of the fact that I was a JT supporter - I still make no secret of that fact.

He is gone for whatever the reason and that is the end of the section.

I am just as excited by the new appointment as everyone else.

Sheens coached for 10 years if my memory is correct..Biggest plus for new coach is that he will have more salary cap then any other coach to spend I think over 8 million he can cherry pick who he wants I would go with Whare and Hiku from Penrith take Matalino from N.Z Tanne Milne from the dragons he's alot like a young Frizell play him in the second row and Alex Glenn that's what I would go after first

Add Whare to that list and I'd be pretty happy. Although I'm not against McQueen coming here either. Great experience, a hard head, and a bloke who's done it all at the highest level.
