I must say though as a playing group I think they are trying. I have been a Taylor supporter and I understand he is working to a long term plan, but generally is killing the team ATM. I think you can see they want to do more but aren't allowed. I've come to the conclusion that what's happening is wrong and the development of the youngsters will be ruined by Taylors lack of freedom.

I think they are trying and I also think Taylor is possibly the worst coach that I have ever seen.

hence why Taylor failed at eels and souths both were young teams,, Taylor can't coach young teams he's just another Ricky Stuart clone that over coaches and is only good with a experienced team

Well, maybe JT is fixing defense first..and whilst he concentrates on that, the first half of the comp will be gone; then we can worry about our attack, by the time it is fixed, we'll be ready fort 2016 - EUREKA - that must be the grand plan!!

Not sure about a new low, but certainly an awful game to watch!
I think Moses was the only player who actually offered anything in attack, apart from teddy looking like he may possibly make a break.
The halves have enough pressure on them to get their mojo and this was billed as their chance to step up in farahs absence.
Okay. Then at least give them a chance instead of having brooks at dummy half?!

Can someone please tell me why Taylor would do this? For him to call the same set of 6 every possession?! 😕
Was halatau carrying an injury? Because even from the outset the halves were at dummy half too often.
Honestly, even if he was, out of tonight's team the last three players I would have there would be Brooks, Moses and Tedesco.
I don't have huge expectations for the team this year, but is it too much to hope that they at least score?! :neutral_face:

I thought after last weeks effort, Taylor might have sent them out with a slightly more adventurous game plan, but no just the same brain numbing football again.
They will not win another game this year playing "Taylor football", they just do not have the right roster to out grind teams. The Cowboys tonight were more than happy to defend a two point lead because they knew what they had to defend. Anyway the club should be worried because nobody is going to bother going to the games to be bored to death be this so called structure

Bar our halves when they spark, Teddy… thats about it, maybe a deep shout to Kev, we currently dont have white line fever players on the park. Richards is a consumate pro, put it on a platter and its a lock. Hoeter and Lawrence block them out from opportunities, the high ball isnt their forte (kev and Pat)....
