A group of tigers can be called a 'streak' or an 'ambush' of tigers. Uhm...Can't say I have ever seen it described this way, but to quote many radio jocks "Our listeners (or readers in this case) are our greatest researchers...

Presumably, as Tigers are somewhat solitary in nature, the collective noun doesn't really apply. Or if needed, group of tigers applies most commonly.
