Aaron Woods BSB interview April 26

The ball for these two to stay with the WT has ALWAYS been in their court…if with the deals off the table, I am certain if they both approached the WT and said they want to stay and negotiate I am 10000% certain they would say yes.

Done with it now. I am comfortable with both going. Cleary and the club are landing players without too many dramas which sort of ruins that supposed notion that we're poison to other available players.

Was told Monday by a work colleague who is usually in the know on Roosters matters that Tedesco signed almost 3 weeks ago.

Guerra likely heading to Titans, Fergo to Sharks and Evans told team mates a month ago he was off to the Eels

Also said the Roosters were chasing Nofo too.

I think with all this signing action the club is preparing for the inevitable announcements about the departures of the dynamic duo this week.

Over all of it tbh. Have come to terms with both woods and teddy moving on. Club has made some nice signings over the last week or so too.

I don't know. Something tells me they might not be off the bus just yet.

Wouldn't be suprised if they both stay tbh.

The only obstacle being the removal of the deals by the club.

But if the club were prepared to revisit negotiations with both Teddy and Woods and both players were aware of that then I wouldn't consider them definite goners… just yet.

I agree, If they decided to stay I'm sure the club would accommodate. Not fussed re Woods as long as we can score another decent prop. Id like to see Tedesco stay on the clubs terms.

I reckon the 2 cretins have already signed elsewhere and they were just stringing us along. They could backflip but it's unlikely.

I'm so proud of the way the club has put them on the spot and they've reacted as poorly as we've come to expect.

Any further derogatory terms aimed at Tedesco and Woods will be met with warnings.

I wish them all the best, in whatever they decide.
Wests tigers will continue, with or without them, and would be ironic to see wests tigers make the finals for the full duration of the contract period they sign with other clubs.
that's what i really hope for.

Thats why th3y had to put a deadline. Either your staying or we need to replace you. The scary thing would have been if no one wanted to replace them. But so far so good. Well done tigers.

Not sure how much truth was in it, but I read a post that was something about them (Woods and Teddy) being unable to confirm or announce their moves to Bulldogs and Roosters before those clubs cleared space for them by indicating who was leaving their clubs - something to do with cap requirements. If this is true, then this delay seems to make more sense, and both Woods and Teddy are well gone but just waiting until they can formally announce it. I think we will hear sooner rather than later from Woods that he has signed with the Dogs now that the Reynolds news has been released.
As for Teddy, I really hope I'm wrong, I would love to see him stay. The rumour on TMM also gave me hope too as it seemed like one of our young guns was returning and maybe loyalty wasn't dead after all.

I think the major obstacle was them showing the club no respect and ignoring massive contracts they had in front of them for months while their management (or themselves) shopped around for a better offer

Does that include putting $ in their names, or referring to Woods as a dog if it's confirmed he is off to Canterbury next year

So - just suppose they stay - didn't we have salary cap issues before all this started ? How could we find the dough to keep them, considering we have been fairly active in the market ? They must be gone !!

Calling them cretins such as Earl has is no longer on. People have had their chance to vent. Now it's time to move onwards and upwards.
