Any further derogatory terms aimed at Tedesco and Woods will be met with warnings.

You joined the Tigers Board Willow ?

No. Just trying to bring a bit of respect back to the forum.

I know that
I think Majority have now moved past the anger, hate and hurt of them moving on.

Its a shame as we did all we could to keep them unlike the way the dogs treated Reynolds

Great point at least we tried to keep our locals.
Canterbury crapped on reynolds. Had no interest in signing him

Not sure how much truth was in it, but I read a post that was something about them (Woods and Teddy) being unable to confirm or announce their moves to Bulldogs and Roosters before those clubs cleared space for them by indicating who was leaving their clubs - something to do with cap requirements. If this is true, then this delay seems to make more sense, and both Woods and Teddy are well gone but just waiting until they can formally announce it. I think we will hear sooner rather than later from Woods that he has signed with the Dogs now that the Reynolds news has been released.
As for Teddy, I really hope I'm wrong, I would love to see him stay. The rumour on TMM also gave me hope too as it seemed like one of our young guns was returning and maybe loyalty wasn't dead after all.

This makes way more sense to me than anything I have read on the subject over the past few weeks. It's easy for everyone to blame the players over their apparent indecision and to make up stories that these guys are just screwing the club by holding on blah, blah when in reality there is probably a lot more going on behind the scenes, which none of us are privy to, that has prevented both Woods & Tedesco from saying anything outright to the media, the club, the fans or whoever. I really don't think that either of these guys would want to 'harm' the Tigers in any way, they just want what is best for theirs and their families future.

And in all honesty, I think the fact that they are being mercilessly pressured by everyone to make a decision either way, so early in their final contracted year, is just plain wrong, but that's another whole issue for another time.

I really think it's time for us to just let it go - all the booing and griping and speculation about motives and who's doing what and who said what is just wasted energy! Energy that could be spent on supporting and cheering the team (the whole team) throughout the rest of the season because our season is far from over. Cleary has come in and the boys are immediately playing better and smarter. And if anything, this whole fiasco being continuously played out in public has helped the team bond together more - they have reacted in a positive way and they are now finally playing for each other as a team.

Who knows what could come out of this for the rest of this season - a finals berth, a premiership - wouldn't that be a great story. I know I'm probably dreaming, but stranger things have happened in sport - hardship & turmoil can sometimes be great motivators, especially if you have the right people in place behind the revival.

Woods, Tedesco and hopefully Moses will still be playing with us for the rest of the season. Why can't we just be mature enough to support them, along with the rest of the team. The booing may not have affected Woods & Tedesco, but if it continues throughout the year, it may well affect some of the younger guys in the squad and why the hell would we want to do that? Do we want them to win or what? If they all end up staying, then fantastic, but if one or more of them end up leaving next season, then why not at least try to send them out as winners.

I reckon woods will announce he is a dog tomorrow.

excuse the pun i say

Sunday at the very latest. Who cares though. I would have liked him to stay but so be it. Only player's with heart to play for us at tiger's now. Cleary is the best thing ever. The coach runs the club not the players. They don't get a say who works at OUR club. We love this club that's why we are on here having our say because ww care. GO IVAN YOU ARE A LEGEND

Players will come and go.
I'd like to see players like Teddy stay but what can you do.
We have them at the club for the rest of 2017 so thats a plus.

I am annoyed by Moses though…...he is entitled to move on with the Eels in 2018, but he has a contract in place with us this year.....why is he so desperate to get out of the club? Surely he doesn't hate the players he plays with? Or does he think so little of the WT fans and so little of the club?

Either way I think a contract is a contract and the Tigers should expect him to play out the rest of the year giving 100%....

I don't know. Something tells me they might not be off the bus just yet.

Wouldn't be suprised if they both stay tbh.

The only obstacle being the removal of the deals by the club.

But if the club were prepared to revisit negotiations with both Teddy and Woods and both players were aware of that then I wouldn't consider them definite goners… just yet.

I think the major obstacle was them showing the club no respect and ignoring massive contracts they had in front of them for months while their management (or themselves) shopped around for a better offer

It's pretty clear that this was a game to these guys and it didn't turn out the way they wanted it too. They thought they had all the power and pfft it's gone.

They (Gaz and Hodges) were laughing at him coz he has been carrying the Team
They said what about people like Cam Smith who has to carry his team, sate and country

I read somewhere thats why many think Woods is not ready to captain the blues

Explains also why the club has tried to take the heat of them as well - especially if they are aware that it is a procedure thing then and that they are just caught up in the system.
Bizarre how are only 7 weeks into the season and the focus is all on next year. Craziest start to s season that I can remember.

I have been saying for the past week, its just a matter of the NRL giving both the Dogs and the Chooks the rubber stamp and call me cynical but the NRL have so be seen to be enforcing the rules, hence the delay as both clubs have to show how they will get their books in order come round 1 2018.

Teddy will be a big loss, but if we can now spread our talent better across 17 players and not have so much cap tied up in one player we might .just be a more competitive football team, but game breakers like Teddy are a rare commodity.

Anyway I am excited, still need a few more quality signings, but the ship is pointed in the right direction

- Sooner rather than Later….

Dogs fans are going spastic - They need some good news.

The good news won't be the announcement of Woods, that's for sure. They are spewing with him.
