The unfortunate thing is, when this saga is over, whether he stays with our club or not, his reputation has been tarnished for a long time to come. Especially true if he actually does re-sign - the majority of our supporter base won't look at him the same way again.
 
Woods needs to be read the riot act. Could you imagine Lockyer , Pearce , Gallen or any club captain acting like this. Might as well tear up the tpa.s because I wouldn't want woods representing my commercial interests. A true buffoon he is. My mail is teddy is worth millions as the family have vast land in menangle park way which is being subdivided and the dollars are not the going concern but he is still loves them don't you worry.
 
Woods wanted to know who the coach was going to be before he re-signs ,now that he knows its Ivan you have to wonder what's the hold up now.
 
I dont have a problem with Teddy or Woods. Its a huge decision - career changing.
They are frustrated because they have never played finals footy - the very thing we as fans are frustrated by and fillthy at our club for.
Yet when they baulk at signing on for another three to four years when they have got other options - their character is questioned?
Understand fans being disappointed, but the attacks on their character is unwarranted simply because they are being offered an opportunity that we dont want them to take.
Bag them enough and probably make the decision a whole lot easier for them.
 
Wouldnt pay him a dollar over 500k. I don't understand the hype around him. Money needs to be used elsewhere.

Starting to feel the same re his value. We really don't want to tie ourselves up with this guy if the value isn't there. The club seems to have turned a new page though so thankfully, I doubt they will.
 
I think everyone is jumping the gun on Woods. He appeared very happy that Brooks signed on when interviewed on the radio during the week.

He also stated on Nrl 360 last week that his contact negotiations had been beat up.

I don't even think its whether he stays or leaves.

It's the fact he is dragging it on so much.

He could have left earlier and been dignified and people would have respected him more.

It has had a huge impact on our season and as captain he has to take some responsibility for that.

This could have all been sorted in the off season one way or another.
 
I think a lot of people are thinking up criticisms and hurtful words to ease the potential of these players leaving. Easier to see the back of someone you've convinced yourself to dislike.
 
Not me.

I just wanted players to act with some dignity and class.

They have lost the same amount of respect with me whether they stay or go.

Woods has made it very easy to dislike him over the last 6 months. No shortage of reasons.

Same goes Moses

Teddy, I wouldn't say I dislike him, though he's said a few things that have implied he's above the club in terms of our efforts in not making the finals and how he hasn't accepted his share of the blame for it. Someone else's fault. I'm disappointed in him more than anything.

Isaac Moses has poisoned all of them. Very sad that they are so weak minded that they've allowed themselves to be puppets throughout this whole saga.

Fair enough. People turned on Farah, why not turn on Woods as well. I don't agree but I understand.
 
Have I missed something? What has Woods said or done, publicly, for you all to suddenly hate him so much, except to take his time to make an important decision about his future?

It's what he hasn't said. At no point in the last 6 months has he come out and endorsed the club, said he wants to stay. Poor form from a captain.

My thoughts exactly. The larrikin demeanour is wearing thin. He talks on 360 about how our players heads drop when we concede points. WELL INSPIRE THEM YOURE THE CAPTAIN.
 
Stand up for your club and you fans you immature childish man….....I wanna see what you dish Saturday. Be a man lead your team and club otherwise leave....
