Aaron Woods

I have heard this rumour as well considering we have the best Young players coming through it's no surprise I know for a fact they are after Curtis Sironen as well.

The only thing that worries me is that who ever Manly target they usually never miss.

Manly are the team I hate most, however I have to give them credit as they always make astute purchases in areas they need.

They have lost Kite this year, King must be close to retirement and other key forwards such as Watmough & Stewart are getting old.

Makes perfect sense to throw big money at one of the best young forwards on the market. Their halves won't be as effective with a poor pack.

Don't feel sorry for them.

Yes….and his brother too

It will be a good yardstick to see where we are at as a club …. To see if we can keep the ones we want .... Otherwise it will just be a throwback to the 80's for ex- Magpies fans.

Some clubs find it easier to manage the salary cap than others. Roosters, dogs, broncos manly and storm (in past years) are masters.

Masters is not quite the term I use for these clubs.

Cheats - to practice fraud or deceit, to violate rules or regulations

seems like a better term.

it's easy to keep under the cap when you can let go any under performing players within a year and you can pick great replacements since everyone wants to play there, whether that be as a junior or a NRL player.

It should be a lot easier for us in coming years as we can just pick and choose like we did with Mullaney v Tedesco, or all the people we've let go this year, matt bell, lote, utai, benji, reddy, miller, pettybourne etc. etc. as we know we have good replacements from our juniors.

Exactly in a few years time were going to be a force for years to come with a young gun squad and with the big signing we will be doing next year and hopfully more players will want to join in the comming years.

Yep Bob Fulton is a massive Siro fan. I'd offer Woodsie the vc next year and captain in 2015/6.. Thall keep him

No Thanks to giving Aaron the VC & Captaincy… He may develop into a leader in another 5-6 years, but I felt him being part of the Leadership Group [Powertrip Club @ Tigerland] distracted from his game and development this year.

This kid is a star 'in the making'. But the club needs to give him time to learn his own game first.

With so much talent coming up we are going to be massive targets from other clubs. The board have to be smart

The keeping of our better players is also likely to depend on Mick Potter and how he continues to develop as an NRL coach during 2014.

If Potter doesn't survive, that makes it so much easier for players to jump ship. We need some stability, otherwise we have no credibility.

The sironen's are pretty symbolic to the club and offer great marketing potential (new generation rising up or somthing) and they're pretty good footballers as well
I doubt tigers will let them go

Bozo rates Sirro as a 6,but one Kieran Foran has a mortage on that jumper, plus manly have no salary cap space for any name players.
