Absolutely Disgusted!!!!

I just dont see how two refs two touch judges and a bloke in the box did not make the call on Youngs forearm to Farahs head and Smiths charge with the knees.
They pinged us for a leg pull but turn a blind eye to four play. We deserve a explanation why five officals got it so wrong. Maybe we should all email Gallop and ask for a explanation. It was up their on the big screen for everyone to see. If you make a accidental high tackle you get pinged the same should apply for leading into the tackle with your knees . Okay Benji may or may not have kicked the goal but we will never know now

What is also upsetting is that the 2 Sunday papers don't even mention all the bad calls the Wests Tigers got. It would have been easier to take the International day of the Tiger ( which ironically is today) if the back pages had headlines like " The Wests Tigers ripped off by Refs" …"St George won with 15 men on the field"

All except this bloke Alad..

Tigers bite their tongue over Smith's knee on Tuqiri

Great quotes directly from Sheens as well..

From memory sheen's quote was ' well everyone saw it' that said it all, but it made no difference I heard today that the cited players can play next weekend if they enter early guilty pleas, doesn't that equate to the fact that we should have received a penalty over the knees in the back?????
I understand Sheens quote, he is the Australian coach.

WT have a 17% success rate with Hayne as ref.

Source?

Wouldn't surprise me.

NRL stats has him at 43.24% overall….. 39.13% away from home

when a player leads with with his knees, even when falling into a tackle there is always time change your point of impact. this was a clear cut penalty. the boyd non-play the ball what were they watching. where was hayne the imbo last year for the gibbs incident with knees ! the absolute bloody disgrace of the nrl ie referees have already decided the outcome of the competition no matter who wins next week. the roosters are only there because of THAT scrum ( hayne again ) and the dragons were always going to get the rub of the green frrom those imbo's last night especially when you hear all week about gibb's line speed in defence and how he is flying close to the line. well done hayne, even though you dont deserve to one of the two clowns doing the gf next week the nrl have nothing else to choose from.
ps, hope you enjoy your winnings in the off season hayne, you goose !!

Just on the leading with the knees issue, Bryce Gibbs did it to Luke Burt in 2009 and got suspended for 3 weeks for kneeing Burt in the backside…Now poor Lote may very well have broken ribs from Smith's knees and the refs didn't even look at it. Disappointing to say the least. One thing the refs have proved this year is that they are not consistent.

At the ground it looked like they were looking at it. The video ref should have been man enough to say knees, doesn't matter if it was an accident or not he lead with the knees. Compared to Gibbs who raced a long way to try and stop a try, the dragons player should get 5 weeks it was much worse than the Gibbs tackle.

i want to know why was not a penalty. In my opinion the refs are either inept or corrupt.

sunshine coast tiger … they're extremely inept and there definately needs to be a review of betting in games. its all very suspect when decisions are made like the galloway play-the-ball in the first half and then no decision made with 7 to go and boyd tried three times to play and failed yet it was play on. all season it is apparent that the peanuts with the whistle will decide the gf. but even they have excelled themselves by deciding the gf before it is played by absolutely butchering the tigers in the finls series. the nrl and their imbo refs are an absolute bloody disgrace. wont even bother to watch the gf after the best team did not make it because of hayne's total ineptitude.

now you know how wests magpies felt in in 1978 - blatantly ripped off against manly. so proud of the boys that - it will make us a better team in the future

Its funny but after We were deafened by that crap music on kickoff it only took a few minutes too see we had a couple of extra backs in Creagh and Cooper i instantly remembered that game in 78.

They obviously thought that we Wests Tigers fans can put up with this crap whereas maybe Dragons fans are reaching the end of their tether.

And then I thought the loud music, the one sided refeering….............its probably just lke ROCK & ROLL WRESTLING anyway. 😱pen_mouth:

Why doesn't the club take the nrl on about this otherwise it will be the same next year

And next year we will have Brisbane to worry about.

Surely they can"t let that rent a crowd down.

Sad to say its a joke that can"t be taken to seriously.

But somehow I Keep getting sucked in. :deadhorse:

MM are you referring to the Broncos salary cap??

Yes the cap and the Storm expose seem very suspicious to me.

And in my rage of getting robbed on Sat I remembered the 2006 GF and realised it can happen on Grand Finals also.

so Jeremy Smith has just been cited - in other words it was a bleepin penalty!

He's taken the early guilty plea to avoid being suspended for the Grand Final, so yes it should have been a penalty :imp:

And a massive game changer.

Bryce got 3 weeks for less last year.

I cannot fathom how we did not get a penalty in the last ten.

The Darius Boyd play the ball was unbelievable. He was dominated in the tackle, wriggled out to the side and didnt even touch the ball with his foot and he was facing near sideways.

And then Smith Knees Lote in the back.

What do you have to do to get a penalty in a tight game if you have a tiger jumper on….get decapitated??

If it was the other way around you can be sure St.George would have got a penalty on both counts.
Seeing its us, they don't seem to care …..... sometimes makes you wonder why
