AC/DC

is their latest album worth buying?
haven't heard any good things about it.
Are AC/DC losing it - or do they still have their mojo?

Will probably be much the same as all the others, AHX. Don't get me wrong, I have always liked AC/DC, but let's face it, there's not a lot of variation in their music.

Thanks Flip - its just that most every album that they release has a sure fire hit - but it's been all quiet on the western front with this latest album.

I'm very much over them for that reason Flip. It all sounds the same, and I'm sick of Triple M flogging the same half a dozen songs.

You've heard one AC/DC song, you've heard em all. Most one dimensional band i've ever heard. But its worked for them so hats off.

Exactly right

I couldn't name 5 bands who have survived as long as AC/DC without changing their style with the times and remained as successful if not more successful

Even bands like the Stones have had to change over the years

I suppose the most important question when talking AC/DC is this

Did you prefer AC/DC before Bon or after Bon

Hard to argue…..they all sound the same now

Cmon Ink

What about all those supergroups like One Direction , and Five Seconds of Summer

They sound different

Who…and who?

Mate accadacca were faves of mine, LiveWire my all time ac/dc song...had quite a few Bon Scott albums...Back in Black was brilliant, I also got FTATR...my intertest waned after that

Definitley preferred them with Bon up front

Give me U2 any day of the week

Yeah I'd love to see AC/DC live to compare bands first

U2 would be the best band live I have seen

Lyrically and entertainment wise ? no comparison IMO .
AC/DC have some really good songs that i love , but it's a scream fest . As GNR has said 1 dimensional Band , don't know how they lasted so long IMO.

U2 are one of my favourite bands, seen them live a couple times, but their constant political angle wears thin after a while. You go to a concert to forget about whatever crap is happening in the world, not to be preached to by a pretentious Irish douchebag about the plight in Africa, when all it would take to feed, clothe and house the population of Africa would be to donate every dollar earned from half a dozen stadium gigs, which to him would be pocket change.

Seen them back in August with Adam Lambert. Thought they were fantastic. Freddie sang the majority of Bohemian Rhapsody on the big screen which was a cool moment.

Saw the Stones as well about a month ago. Unbelievable to still be that on the money and tight at 70\. Charlie Watts is 73 and still doesn't miss a beat.

JT should have some Foo Fighters blaring in the sheds before they run out…some powerful music there...gets me going lol

Yeah and Bonehead moved to the Netherlands when the Irish government decreased the tax free threshold on entertainers so they could get all their money tan free.
Then come out here tell the aussie government to give more in overseas aid, payed for with our taxes.
If he donated all the money he spends on sun glasses to Africa there would be no poverty.
