Bring Mitchell home!!! I know he has said in the past he doesn't want to follow in his dads shadow, but could we have Pearce & Sironen in a Tiger Jumper playing together again???

I reckon he would be the most likely to come to us.

Its unbelievable really that the son of Balmain's "Local Hero" is playing for the Roosters!

And yes wouldn't it be weird seeing Pearce and Sironen taking the field at Leichhardt Oval again :slight_smile:

Eventually the news gets out one way or another. This trend of signing players from other clubs 12 months before there current contract finishes is getting out of control. It's not good for the fans or the players. The only ones that benefit are the players managers. I wish the league would do something about it.

My only concern would be for Cronk and Blair though .

To be stripped of another title through your clubs cap mismanagement would be devastating for the poor blokes

He is a $500 k plus player easily and depending on the FTA deal could become 700k a season player

If his management have their heads screwed on you wouldn't be signing any deals until the FTA deal is announced and that goes for any player off contract for 2013 and beyond

That is more realistic,I don't rate Wallace,Robson,Fien,and Lui is not off contract next year and I don't want him back anyway,Cronk would be great as would Cherry Evans,but lets see what Miller,Chisholm,Humble have in store for us,we might be able to spend the money elsewhere.

Cronk and Sheens do have a great relationship, but I find it unlikely Melbourne will let him go considering they should have plenty of room in the Salary Cap if the rumor Smith has already agreed to terms with Brisbane?

Yeah Bazz read the article It says until 2013 I think that means he signed until the end of 2012 or am I misreading it and having a Seniors moment 😕

no they do that for every contract it is always til the end of the contract. his initial contract expired at the end of 2010 got a 3 yr extension until 2013.

Half backs are so damn expensive these days. If Jacob Miller turns out to be half decent we should keep him and spend the money else where.

Apart from Foran, Cronk and Stewart, there's no one I would go out of our way to sign for 2013\. I'd be happy if we sign one of those three, retain Moltzen, upgrade a few of the 20's and a couple of depth signings.
