I expected to get on here this morning and read some opinions on his actions - reactions from last nights game. What do we reckon? Personally I'm spewing all he hit was air.

I m glad he will be a Tiger.When the tough stuff was on he was the one putting his hand up .The referees once again over reacted to a bit of old fashioned biffo.At least you know Adam is in your corner for the tough stuff.

Well if all he hit was air the Manly 14 must have taken one of those fake blood pills ,but it looked like claret to me ,spewing from his mouth.
 
The manly tigers games are usually pretty firey, but next year there might be just that little bit more in it.

Both blokes were throwing haymakers. It was if they were trying to be "brave" and get involved in a fight but then didn't want their punches to connect just in case there were any repercutions so close to the finals.

As always manly had a few dog players that jumped ontop of blair and laid in a few punches when blair was on the ground and practically defenceless.
 
One good thing about his game is he can get under other players skin, but not really sure if that's what our team needs next year?
Love his passion though but there was no need to carry on like he did on the side line!
 
The undercut in the initial bit hit home although i'm not sure how well he did vs g/stewart and the rest of the manly team.

Was like an old fashioned game of stacks on.

Will be interesting to see how the NRL deals with it. Gallop was at the game and being 1 vs 2 they would probably have viewed it as a showpiece event so i expect a few players on both sides to be watching from the stands next week.
 
Had to laugh at Stewart when Blair baited him on the way off - looked back at the refs to see if anyone was watching - he looked like a little schoolboy who was afraid he would get caught.
 
And another point why wasn't Brett Stewart sent to the bin - he was the instigator of the all in brawl - i will be very disappointed if he isn't cited.

haha like having a punch up (or attempting too) in front of both benches was going to be discreet?

Just haveing a think about - he may have been looking at where his backup was before throwing a punch - because amazingly they all arrived 30 seconds before any Storm players
 
I have ALWAYS liked Adam Blair, to me he is very likable, plus the way he got stuck into the manly boys was great, I don't necessarily condone third man in punches but manly are grubs with us so I'm happy to see Blair get into em, shame he isn't at the tigers now, Gibbs and heighno would have been like pigs in mid getting into manly with Blair lastnight

I dont know if it was the blue or not but I was unimpressed by the game. I was psyched up all week but didn't think the game rose to any great heights.

About the punchup: Ban em all for the rest of the season, I say! The Stewart brothers should be first to go!
 
The only reason they won't penalise Brett Stewart is if they don't want to inflame the whole Many vs NRL thing.

All the Manly players who ran in should receive hefty fines along with Glenn Stewart & Adam Blair. You can't have that stuff, just gives the AFL, greenies, vegetarians, basket weavers etc. ammunition.
 
I thought his defense was strong before the scap. He's a tough guy and a worker and will be an awesome addition next year. Our pack has just got that little bit of intimidation it sorely misses.

That makes 2 - Ellis and Blair. We need Woodsey and Keith to start belting people in the finals ala Dwyer last year.
 
I think Blair & Stewart will get 4 or 5 weeks, plus .Stewart will get a holiday as well, also number 14 from Manly will go as well & some from Melbourne. Ray Hadlee was on radio @ half time of the game & said the league would be looking @ brining in another 7 players to have a chat to & maybe a holiday.
 
Brett Stewart should be suspended for what he did in the second fight…. Ran 30 meters with a dog shot on the end of it shame he has fists like a girl though... As for glen Stewart the only punch he landed was when 3 manly players were laying on Blair

Cant see them getting that long.

it might not matter either way beacuse he may be out for the rest of the yr anyway with the injury to his knee
