I'll keep it quick and short.

Blair - 161 metres, 20 tackles, 1 missed tackle.

Great work, keep it up!

Your stats are wrong sorry mate. No way did Blair put in 161 metres. Had a good match even though he was on the field for the first 15 and didn't come back til we were up 28-6.

NRLStats.com have Blair for 113 metres.

Barely noticed him today and that's surprisingly a good thing! Potter seems to be getting the best out of every player in the team, hopefully we can keep building on top of today's performance

I thought he was pretty good. Was getting over the advantage line and getting quick play the balls. I would love to see him stand up against Souths. He disgraced himself last season against them so i want him to make amends.

It seemed like he played the ball quickly every time he was tackled. And this season, that's important as ever. I suspect he was playing where Paterson started for most of his playing time today.

A very respectable game from AB today.

He usually does ok when we are on top of an opposition. I would like him to show that he isn't just a fair-weather footballer and have him put in good performances when we are up against it and not rolling along nicely through the middle (like Woods did for much of last year).

i got it off nrl.com, i was surprised too which is why i made the thread.

sorry if the stats are wrong though

Quick play the balls has always been part of his game. Until yesterday there just weren't enough of them!

He's been putting in every week. Difference this week was other forwards got a roll on also and the line speed in defence was amazing.

Having Galloway start with Taupau off the bench made a huge difference

No he has not been putting in at all. He's crap. As someone else said today he put on good numbers mainly coz we were on too of them.

I think he's on a beating to nothing regardless. People will bash him from this day forward no matter how good he plays. The hate for him is toxic.

So what is your opinion? Did he play good bad etc?

He was better than his last few performances. Still no where near what he gets paid. Not in terms of skill but more in terms of his involvement .

Would still like him to do a few hit ups out of our own 20 rather than taking the last hit up of the set or in the opposition 20.

Agreed 100%

I thought he did less work off the ball yesterday than he usually does and was happy he finally got some stats recorded by the bloke with the pen.

H is better more involved directly!

Then why don't you just say that and leave it at that. No, instead you make excuses as to why he played well.

Not one forward played badly yesterday

Blair was heavily involved in the 2nd half and he actually seemed to be playing centre at times in attack switching with Patterson

Regardless of whether he takes any if the first couple if hit ups in a set it's a plan at the tigers that blairy can at times take one of the last of the set because nobody gets better faster PTBs than him which eases the pluck pressure on us
