Adam Doueihi #227

Straight up

To me AD at 80% as a centre is still better than any of Faataape, Staines, Naden or Feledy.

Agree. Looking forward to him coming back, he will
Hopefully change the complexion of our team and
how we create opportunities. We need to step up
In the back-end of the season to avoid the spoon.
I think we can do it I still haven't lost faith in the boys

He will be itching to get back on field.

The wheel turns full circle, funny how we are talking positively about AD after calling for his head before he got injured ( most recent). I think it’s time for Richo to show us what he’s got and try to pull this cluster [This word has been automatically removed] into some sort of shape otherwise the NRL will be forced to act.

I give it about two games before everyone is back to shitcanning AD again…

He has a tough job ahead of him....How is he going to convince any good players to come to this club,

Unfortunately players are not attracted to clubs that are consistently in last place.

I still believe all clubs should be only allowed to purchase 2/3 players from outside their own club- juniors from within would then be able to get a chance to play games -then at least we would all be on a "level playing field"

Doueihi could rise as the supporters saviour if he comes into first grade & plays well down the stretch.

People tend to remember the injuries & some reported 'bad press', which is fair.

I remember the guy most likely to cause the opposition defence to scramble when he had the ball in hand.

I think he gets a bad rap on here.

Great runner of the ball.

He was on a run of simply dreadful form leading into last year's Easter Monday clash. He then came out and was outstanding at 6. Defending strongly, running strongly and kicking really well. Unfortunately he did is knee the same game.

I wonder if that game could have been a turning point for him, or if he would have just slipped back to the inconsistent effort style he was producing. We will never know.

Most people including myself have issues with his commitment and execution in tackles, having his 3rd acl injury will not help his confidence in that regard.I hope that he gets his opportunities in reggies to build that confidence up before he is tossed into FG.
I wish him well but can not have any trust in him yet

Adam was on the triple M, basically said he isnt happy with what is going on. He’s taking a leadership roll within the team and if younger guys don’t want to fall in line of the standards that are set by the senior players they can go play Reggie’s. Good to hear him so passionate still & sounded like he wanted to make a real difference. (The question asked before this answer was basically about Stef & Galvin) not sure if this link will work
