OFFICIAL Adam Doueihi #227

We have our fair share of players who cannot attack or defend, Doueihi is at least a very good attacking player and his defence is a mindset that he does get right at times, so no reason why he cannot get it right nearly all of the time.
I get your point but I don’t think it’s as simple as a week
Mindset is not a strong area at the tigers

Agree plus he can kick and throw cut out passes which adds further impetus to shut him down, hopefully creating gaps elsewhere.

We can argue about the role of forwards, but I’d love to see a few of them emulate Dean Young’s attacking prowess.

He used to create havoc.
The hero line isn't that special, except at WT. Running lines is surely basic stuff at NRL level, but I rarely see it, and basically never at WT.

At least 3 occasions last weekend he could have put players into space, but instead went himself & then usually ran into a dead end before deciding to run cross field for 30 metres

I’d rather that than not ask the opposing defence any questions or cause them any concerns.
It’s blatantly obvious the alarm bells are ringing within the opposing defence most times he touches the ball and he’s virtually the only one in our team that does it, Samuela Fainu being the other.

Doueihi now boasts 2 wins from 23 games in the past three years for a winning ratio of 8.7%

Regardless of injuries - the team is demonstrably less competitive when he plays!

But at least some of the boys "love" him...

The team has won 9 from their last 58 games @ 15%

2 of those Doohey wins youre talking about were won directly from Dooheys involvement. It could have been 7 from 58 @ 12% Unless you somehow know Doohey is the direct cause of each of those 21 loses and not the low IQ and incompetence of the other 16 window lickers in the team and we definitely would have won all of those 23 games if Doohey didnt play right? Like we never lose a game when Doohey doesnt play right? What a dumb petty post when there are obviously 3000 other issues on the list before Doohey.

Hardly anything to puffing your pigeon chest out about.

No way Winnie, Doobie getting the punt needs to be in the top 3 of the 3000 other issues.
He costs us when the game is still on the line. Even at his low price he is a complete waste of a roster spot.

We are probably better off just fielding 5 players in first grade anyway

Amazing how we didn’t restrict our opponents to far less points all season when Doueihi was not playing ?
Can we please ask our dementia patients to think before they post ?

In his past 26 games for us, Adam has had 4 wins. Luke Brooks only managed 3.
would AD be able to go to another side and be a better player like
Moses
tedesco
Brooks
blore
talau

I don't believe he would be a better player even if he was in the Manly, storm, Roosters system his defence is terrible

He needs to be moved to lock. Less defensive decisions and harder to avoid contact.

He can also hold the ball all to himself while doing some dirty hit ups
