I’m not knocking the result and he had a great game but I’d doubt douehi dominates on a flat dry track. The conditions took their pack out of it. He threw an obvious forward pass to almost butcher our first try. I don’t want him gone but we have to be sensible. We can upgrade him next year if he holds his form.

He is one of our best players but would he be one of Penriths, melbournes, broncos, raiders etc best players? Dogs didn’t want him either.

We only recently offered Adam Reynolds 700k per season, so obviously we are not convinced Latu Fainu is ready to be our regular week to week starting halfback.
He turns us down, we sign Jock Madden and then all of a sudden we don’t need a halfback ?
This is no disrespect to Latu as he looks to be a very good player in the making, but he wouldn’t be the first quality young player to play 14 and potentially wait a few years before becoming a quality regular starting halve.

He is an anchor - but you want to pay him half a million based on his ceiling while his basement levels in defence are far below anyone else in the squad & more consistent than anything approaching his best!

We should offer Adam such big money that he can't say no. We may have to lose a few Fainus in the process but we can just ask Mrs Fainu to give us more. And add a clause where if Shane Richardson kisses Adam's ring finger then it activates a get-out clause.

Aspiring to top 4 means recruiting top 4 level players.

I didn’t say I didn’t want him (in this instance) I just don’t want to pay overs for a bloke whos been injured most of his career with a tendency to shirt grab in defence. Not to mention to then sign up with an agent who just screwed the club over. (Doesn’t sit right with me)

I actually have a growing respect for his achievement despite his injuries.

As I’ve previously commented, if dragons want to pay overs then go nuts. I think he’s gone because most of our recent signings don’t have contract detail leaked to the media.

should have brought Bud (kept him) home and gave him some more 1 on 1 lovin , tutelage from Benji and the coaches. Benji recruited him as somewhat of a savior in his hype to show he b da new Coach. Better halves ? gathered quickly . To cut Bud cold , from a 1 eyed magpie /sorry lol. 1 eyed supporter .Benji needs to pick up his dummy and should have fixed it ,like a well run club would. At least shop him for much better. Richo can be quite passive and blaise . Why did something slip about Murray being shopped 2 esl ?

Gee, you had to go back a long time to come up with that stat. Who gets the big money in league? Hsalves, full backs and centres. The exceptional forward, such as Haas gets a good drink. You cannot compare backs with forwards.
