Is it just me or does our attack look unbelievably better with AD not there? Even with Madden and Luai being average, just having unselfish players in those spots makes a difference.

I also felt the team seemed happier with Adam not there, but that could just be because we were in front.

Surely this win against the roosters nails it into Benji that AD is not our no7 moving forward.

No way would we have scored those tries if he was playing. No way. We actually had direction and set plays amounted to results.

We cant keep giving this guy the keys to the Ferrari.

I don’t want to take anything away from Madden cos he won us the game and stood up when Batman slept through the bat signal. But Madden is not the answer next year. Don’t let today fool you. His goal kicking and his general play kicking is reserve grade level. And Latu and Andrews aren’t the answer either at the start of 27.

luai is the problem not douehi. What did luai do today ? The best we have looked all year is when madden played 7 and douehi played 6. That with our full team and we looked like finalists.

We will be in a better place next year, once Luai is gone.

Jock is a genuine 7 and should be able to lock that position down.

As @Tucker said our best pairing would be him at 7 and AD at 6, however, id love to see Latu at 6 and AD at 13. That's a serious attacking spine.

You and others know that I have long criticised his throttling of the team when in the halves, and conversely, praised his new found defence at left centre and effort since last year's trial, whilst still thinking he was more a modern 13.

That said, can he really have a place at WT following his refusal to play there a few weeks ago, and particularly so after the side lifted without him today?

luai is the problem not douehi. What did luai do today ? The best we have looked all year is when madden played 7 and douehi played 6. That with our full team and we looked like finalists.

We need a six or a seven that has a kicking game. Maden is about 20m short of a decent kicking game and lacks the variation in the type of kicks he uses. Although it is nice to have a seven that feeds his outside backs rather than crabs across the paddock. Great win today, but our team still needs plenty of reinforcements for next year to be competitive over the full season

There is no chance in hell Adam Doueihi has more skills and talent than our other halves. His skillset if terrible. He cant pass he cant ball play at all. He is great when he puts his head down and just runs. He can only play in a position where his focus is to just run. Thats centre or backrow, and hes too soft for backrow. Lock and halves are out of the question IMO

Fair enough, I get what you mean but this is just one of those differences of opinion, I've seen him throw quite a number of good balls. Consistency is needed of course.
