He’s not slow. A couple of great covering tackles in tha highlights reel . His skill in changing direction seems to scatter the defensive line.

What I like about this signing, is that assuming this is Marshall’s last year, it gives Madge the option of chasing another fullback for 2021 and moving Dooey to 6.

Depends on the market ..or even where we are at with Reynolds and or Talau

Remembering that bloody Reynolds is *still* under contract in 2021 is almost enough to wipe out all the good feelings from the past couple of days. Thanks, Cleary!

One thing I will say, though, is that Josh Reynolds will not be the Tigers' first choice 5/8 in 2021. At this stage I'd say the most likely option is Doueihi, followed by someone who isn't currently at the club, followed by Taulau, followed by Marshall, followed by playing with 12 men, followed by Jason Taylor, followed by Cragulon 9, the Hideous Slime Being from Beyond the Stars, followed by Josh Reynolds.

I don’t know that you can accuse Madge & Pascoe of paying overs until Adam has a full season under Coach Madge. Therefore the contract price is irrelevant. However, with all the numbers being thrown around , like chips on a beach, it would be nice to know.

If we're paying upwards 1.9m for 4 years that averages out at 475K per season which is just under 5% of our salary cap bargain for a spine player.

Look at the short kicking game...now we have Brooks, Benji and AD at 1 who can kick and pass.

I watched him closely last year (Balmain roots) and he has that touch of class you hope to see in your FB.

I think playing as a fly half you quickly learn how to step and pass.. and put in a quick accurate kick. Ricky was so good at that.
