Never done meth but I know it can cause drug-induced psychosis largely due to sleep deprivation tweekers stay up for days at a time. It's a nasty drug.

F chemical highs, gone are the days as a teenager where you would dare to take a puff on a joint without getting addicted virtually straight away.

A young guy I chat to at the pub his brother passed away and I didn't see him for a few weeks and I just ran into him and he looked very bad I asked around and people said he started on meth he has lost weight and looks very bad

It's very addictive & very bad for you.

As with most drugs it really depends on your mental health when you have it, if you are happy within yourself and have stability around you then there is less chance that it will have a negative impact on your life, whereas if you have experienced trauma and / or are depressed it can ruin your life.

I haven’t nor would I ever have meth, but know people who have, in the worst cases it destroys everything around you as it becomes your priority.

There is plenty of information on the internet about it…

My brother has an addiction to this horrid drug. He was on life support for a week due to a concoction of drugs he took.

He survived but still uses I believe. He is as skinny as a rake, and looks about 100 years of age.

He stays awake all the time, hardly eats, what can you do ?

My other brother and I know this drug will kill him and its just a matter of when. We have tried all we could but to no avail.

Sadly there is not much you can do, he has to want to help himself.

Sadly the best advice is to cut all contact and ensure he doesn't know where you live.

It will destroy him and any family/loved ones he has.

Sad to hear. I'd quietly ask if he's ok. If he says he's struggling advise him to get help. Then it's up to him.

I was thinking of this we play pool together sometimes I was thinking of having a few games and a beer and see if I can bring it up or maybe just treat him normal and see if he starts talking about it maybe he just needs someone not to feel sorry for him I have very little idea what to do
