Wests Tigers can confirm that Joshua Addo-Carr will leave the Club at the end of the 2016 NRL season.

Addo-Carr has played four NRL games for Wests Tigers since joining the Club at the start of the season on a one-year deal from the Cronulla Sharks.

Wests Tigers CEO Justin Pascoe said that while the Club was disappointed to see Addo-Carr leave at the end of the season he understands that it was not an easy decision for him to make.

“I’d like to make it clear to our Members and fans that Wests Tigers made a very competitive offer to retain Joshua for the next few years and while we’re disappointed we wish him well,” he said.

Wests Tigers have also confirmed that Asipeli Fine has been granted an immediate release from the remainder of his playing contract. Fine played three NRL games for Wests Tigers since making his debut in Round 25 of the 2014 season.

Well, that's that then. Done and dusted. 😢
Good luck to JAC. His career will only flourish at a club like Storm.

Well we need to recruit 2 wingers for next season now. One position we have absolutely no depth.

That sucks, but also shows a lot of immaturity for a player who's been so unsettled to find a happy place, only to cry about not getting picked straight into first-grade from NYC. This petulance isn't a good quality for a first grader. Sure enough he got his chance soon after and started to play well and was happy once again. But as his agent was no doubt super quick to find him a new club and he just took it straight away without showing any patience or gratitude to the club.

If he is so arrogant, and has significant troubles in his personal life then he could become another one of those wasted talents. Although if any coach can get him straight it's probably Bellamy.

So either JAC changed his tune and now is happy to go or once again we've been outmanouvered by a more serious club. If they let Ryan P or Liddle go I might give up.

I found it interesting that he said, " I dont think the club really wanted to sign me"
Propably had him on the back burner. Idiots.

Yeah very disappointing.. Does look like a potential star tbh. I don't know the contract details but if it was way too much money to compete with then we're probbaly better off long term. Be good if we didn't keep letting actual talent go though, instead of keeping players who look ok but never quite get there..

The guy has had one good game for us. If yesterday's game showed us anything it's that we can't be overspending on wingers. We need to recruit a couple of proven forwards and leaders.

Bellamy couldn't get Matt Lodge right but very graciously sent him over to our club.

2 wingers, 1 centre, a 5/8, a halfback, 2 second rowers, a prop and 3 good bench players.

Apart from that we're in pretty good shape.

Pascoe released a statement, it's official. Gross incompetence. Heads need to roll. Full credit to Pascoe for the corporate spin.
