Agenda against the WT........

I think the media are becoming ever more pathetic in how they extract and publish stories to sell subscriptions/followers, but dont really think its as personal against the Tigers as we sometimes make out.

It is clear Buzz has a hard-on for Go, so things like this just make his life better. But as many have suggested, the Wests Tigers are part of the mud which has appeared so we simply have to cop it until we can give the media different headlines to print.

Nonsense.
If the Simona/Lovett stuff happened to any other Sydney club, you'd see the same amount of coverage.

But Simona didn't have to drop his teammates in the poo as well just because he stuffed up
Just kick the club on your way down.
Goodbye and good riddance.

Buzz was on record in 2014 during the Potter saga as saying Farah was a cancer to our club and he needed to be removed at any cost. A year later he gets his wish and he's one of the biggest critics of the club for doing what he asked.

Given Simonas lack of loyalty / respect to his team mates, it wouldn't surprise if he is the source of some of Rothfields and other journalists' scoops on the Tigers… We can definitely do without blokes like Simona at the club...

If he didn't have an influence on our performance during his betting period, he is probably having an impact on our performance now...

Well, what can we do about i??

We just have to win games consistently.

Otherwise we lead ourselves open to this stuff.

The media didn't make the JT/Farah think happen. Did not make Simona take drugs or bet against us or Lovett.

They milk it for all its worth. However we have to get our house in order.

I don't think the club is targeted. If anything we are well treated considering our lack of success.

Bingo.

Manly are a perpetual mess in the front office, but no one ever heard boo about it when they were winning games.

so the bryce cartwright saga is now on the back burner.
this fortnight its simonas turn.
people will tire of reading it,and there will be a new fiasco next week.
hopefully rothfield will give the tigers a rest for a while.

Drama with the media is as a result of our past behaviour. Bad player conditions, not paying and knifing players and coaches and a vendetta against David Smith who just took the diversity option and appointed Go with zero experience to run the team. MMM and Fox hated Farah s that covers both radio, to and the papers. We also have two major player agents leaking against us as a result of treatment of their players.

It's self inflicted and won't change until Go and JT are gone.

It's a conspiracy, there was a reporter on the grassy knoll, one below the 3rd floor of the school book depository, and lee Harvey rothfield.

However in the recent findings it looks like it was a hung over FBI agent that fired the fatal bullet by accident.

What I'm trying to say is there is no conspiracy, we are our own worst enemy.

If you don't give them anything to write about they will ignore us and go back to manly or why Broncos get Friday night games and what the burgo boys are doing.

No one to blame here but Simona and Lovett.

I'm personally glad to see the full story in all its ugly glory.

If you want to use what happened to JFK, as to say that there's a conspiracy behind this, just go and do some research to into his murder.

We have been giving them plenty of ammo recently…not really unexpected

Spot on, if we didn't offer anything up there would be no headline, but we just can't seem to help our selves.

The Papers are all in decline….factual reporting is replaced by emotional commentary just to work everyone up. Simona equals publicity and they milk it and everything else for all its worth. Just look at the multitude of stories on the simona story in the DT. They will talk to his dog next. Clearly, the fact that Simona is referring to his fellow cocaine users on mad monday would have leaked to the players and it definitely had a big impact on the team! Its had to! Simona is being used to address downward circulation trends!

Sorry I didn't mean to distract you with the JFK reference. JFK has gone on for years and still there are question marks. Yes, there were conspiracies surrounding JFK.

My comment about no conspiracy was a reference towards the Tigers being targeted or part of an agenda, If we keep giving NRL journos stories to write they will write them. They don't just target us, They will write about bad news before they write about good news.

Just saw Rothfield on NRL 360 basically sticking up for Simona, despite the poor choices he's made.. Said he was hesitant about even publishing the full interview given how damaging it was, but Simona was pretty keen to get the truth out there. Surprised me given Rothfield's rep for putting the boot in.

Its our mentality , its gets too hard and we make excuses
>
Tim Grant's got the flu , it was hot , players had to play longer minutes , Woodsy couldn't get to the hairdressers , it goes on and on, on and on.

Fantastic comments and 100% correct.

Make no mistake Cosimo, Rothfield is only sticking up for Simona because he got a titillating story out of him. If he asked Simona for the interview and he got rejected you could guarantee he would be putting the boot in like he is fond of doing to anything WT related. Buzz and Simona are both vermin, they would have gotten along like a house on fire.

They should've used this garbage to fire up. Problem was, they were spent after the warm up.

If my memory serves me correctly Tim Sheena and the tigers started the pre game warm ups back in 05
