Prob so they can fit in another marquee signing. JAC?

Imagine if they sign Latrell and The Fox and we get Burns and Johnston ??????

AJ an expiring contract. Burns opportunity. Especially if gagai Roberts not going Anywhere.

If Arrow doesn’t come they need to buy a forward or two..so that may entice them to release a back or two

At Souths he will be their third choice winger.

With us he would be first choice FB.

That is a huge difference.Bennet is a master at moving them on...

I expect they open up with Liam Knight and Tom Burgess, sub in Tatola, if that's what you mean. I think that rotation substantially lacks grit. I think we saw evidence of this when they were taken apart by the Roosters last year.

Knight seems a good fellow and he's been around a while, but to have him as first-choice enforcer, he struggled. He tried hard, didn't shirk, but he struggled. I know he got levelled accidentally by JWH, but he's still just a big kid and I reckon he has a really big target on his back.

Madge has wanted AJ for a while.

Madge is his old coach.

AJ is off contract and thus needs a big year....Souths FB spot is gone and wing spots he is depth only.

Despite all that, he does not want to come.

Again, is it a recruitment issue or simply a ridiculous run of bad luck. We have tried for DWZ..:Moylan....Lomax....Lattrell...AJ....

That is a LOT of fullbacks to try for and fail.

Well he said Madge has spoken to him twice. Regardless, obviously Madge wants AJ.

So, why have we have missed out again? That makes five....five!!!...FBs we have targeted and missed. People seem to act like there is no issue.

Havnt missed the point at all. All clubs are having conversations with players/managers without securing a contract - often instigated by managers first. To infer there is something wrong with our club because we don't secure a player after a discussion, is hardly unique to our club.How do you know that we were not interested in what the player wanted because we didn't think he was worth it and we lost interest?
