He'd cost too much for a winger imo. Would definitely like him in that role in a vacuum, but I don't think spending big $$ on wingers is very wise, especially for a rebuild.

Wouldn't even consider him as a fullback.

But we have Suli… who is better.

Its an absurd opinion but this guy doesn't rate Suli which is odd cos hes one of the best up and comers in the NRL right now

You've got to be joking. Moses Suli has been one of our best players this year and he's only 18.

I haven't seen Suli in any lower grades, and haven't seen much of him in attack, he seems to not have great pace . Has anyone seen how fast ne is

That would work for me, and would not cost a fortune so we could bolster the secondrow with a decent signing

Yep I like that backline a lot, though I'm not sold on the idea of the unproven Lolohea being put in such an important position. I don't get all the excitement over him, tbh - he doesn't look like anything special. I would rather Gordon or even Hopoate at fullback for a year or two so we can take the time to find a more viable fullback option in the future. I don't think it's a decision we should rush into and they are both experienced and proven performers, who wouldn't cost the earth, and could temporarily fill the void left by Tedesco, until a better player comes off contract in a year or two. Just a thought.

Pretty sure Alex Johnston won't come to us .. he only wants to play fullback, but he's more winger than fullback, and I'm pretty sure that Cleary only see's him as that as well. If he agree's to come to us as a winger, then get on the bus matey .. !!

Wouldn't be surprised if Ivan has told Johnston and Lolohea that he would like them both but they have to work for the FB position and its not guaranteed. It's not guaranteed at their current clubs so they have the choice to back themselves elsewhere and potentially make the WT fullback position their own…..
