Alex Seyfarth #232

27 and prime years ahead with 100 games under his belt I really hope he becomes a Bull Giraffe šŸ¦’ over the next 5 years with an origin game or two. I have hacked on him a bit with the baby giraffe call, but his our junior I and want nothing but the best from him and for him.
Go Alex!!!
Go the Bull Giraffe!!

All guts an effort to reach 100 games.
Also my ears pricked when Benji mentioned him concerning senior leaders of the club driving standards along with ad and api.
(Interview was in the aftermath of Batman announcing he was leaving)

Good for him and I'll never doubt his effort. But reality is he would've been lucky to get even remotely close to 100 games at any other competent club and has been one of the biggest beneficaries of our lack of recruitment/retention up until 2024/25. There's many reason for our forward pack being signigicantly better this year (KPP joining + Twal, Samuela and Hunt going to another level) but one of them is Seyfarth going from ~65 minutes a game starter in 2025 to ~20 minutes from the bench this year and usually being last to come on the field.

Not a game breaker nor the apple pie on a Sunday guy but, I can never knock him for effort. Good on him for making 100 games.

Underrated player, constantly getting better each year.... being used well in 2026 from the bench.

Well done to him.

I just don’t see it.
Sure he puts effort in but it’s just not quality.
People see things differently at times.

He isn’t making meters, he is getting bent defensively, can over position himself defensively and just overall ineffective as a forward.

In the storm game he was a big reason we kept going side to side for little benefit instead of doing the basics and just going forward. Sure it looked ok on TV at the ground it looked ordinary.

Yeah ..I’ll pay that … he shouldn’t be an option on the edge anymore …I wonder what happened to Sukkar ? Not that he is a superstar but he deserves an opportunity on his preferred left side … another one in Benji’s bad books whilst others get multiple chances ..
Sukkar also doesn't have a contract after this season [yet] and is managed by Isaac Moses

Our backrow stocks are as bad as centre, albeit Roberts was good on debut
