Good for him and I'll never doubt his effort. But reality is he would've been lucky to get even remotely close to 100 games at any other competent club and has been one of the biggest beneficaries of our lack of recruitment/retention up until 2024/25. There's many reason for our forward pack being signigicantly better this year (KPP joining + Twal, Samuela and Hunt going to another level) but one of them is Seyfarth going from ~65 minutes a game starter in 2025 to ~20 minutes from the bench this year and usually being last to come on the field.

Not a game breaker nor the apple pie on a Sunday guy but, I can never knock him for effort. Good on him for making 100 games.

I just don’t see it.
Sure he puts effort in but it’s just not quality.
People see things differently at times.

He isn’t making meters, he is getting bent defensively, can over position himself defensively and just overall ineffective as a forward.

In the storm game he was a big reason we kept going side to side for little benefit instead of doing the basics and just going forward. Sure it looked ok on TV at the ground it looked ordinary.

Yeah ..I’ll pay that … he shouldn’t be an option on the edge anymore …I wonder what happened to Sukkar ? Not that he is a superstar but he deserves an opportunity on his preferred left side … another one in Benji’s bad books whilst others get multiple chances ..

Just when you start getting confidence in the things Benji is doing as a coach, he goes and does things that make you scratch your head and think again.

Sukkar also doesn't have a contract after this season [yet] and is managed by Isaac Moses

I don't know why he's talked up so much, the only time Seyfarth looks any good is when he comes on with 15 to go fresh, when the opposition is fatigued.

Any earlier and his performance is very close to being a plodder, I know that won't be popular, but it had to be said.

Blore is an improved player at Melb because he’s been advised to stay in his lane, run hard, don’t make errors.

Alex needs the same instructions and to play in short bursts. Either the coach is giving him too much free rein or he’s not following instructions.

I wonder if Blore still needs to get back to Sydney, would hire a limo myself to bring him up, even roll out the red carpet at COE, hell, I'd even scrub it clean if needed.

Some will say but we have 2 good second rowers, trouble is at the Tigers most of the time we are missing one through injury.
