Alex Seyfarth #232

Don't take me the wrong way, as I like Alex and if he can take a similar step over this off-season as the last WT will need to get the pen out quickly.

Thing is, do I/we judge him more favourably as a local junior and of a certain heritage, or because he shows fire, urgency and that he cares over actual input?

Bump...boi did he grab that 1 year with both hands

Big red

17 players with his attitude and we'd be in the 8 no worries.

Might sound a little wild, but I reckon in a few years time, this guy could be a real and genuine leader - as in Captain. I don't think a comparison with Finucane is an unreasonable one.

Love the Sauce.
Yes I reckon we should have a soft spot for a local junior and of any heritage, or that shows fire, urgency and cares over actual input?".
This is the type of player we want.
But, We need to be better at picking these types, that also have talent, at a young age.

I think he is a mobile middle forward. I don't see him as an edge player. I think he may struggle making the team this year but I'd pick him every week.

If he continues the effort that he did in 2021 he would be in my 17 every week

Needs to improve. No questioning his work ethic, and I hope in can, but the reality is that he is a bit player at this stage.

You reckon. I think when he was on the field he was one of our better middle forwards. I think he was better than Tamou, Joe O, Musgrove and Mikaele.

He is a different middle forward as well. He isn't the guy to bust a set defensive line. He also gets smashed at times. He is mobile though and that speed for a prop makes a difference.

Easily.

Very impressive.
Looking to see more of him this year.

Thats the problem hey, our captain from last year may rob these guys of valuable game time, we'll never know how good they really can be unless they play 80min of football every week, in reserve grade if necessary, just play big minutes.
I'm an advocate of the only one who benefits from a bench warmer is the bench itself. Unless captain James can be an enforcer off the bench, move over and lets build for 2023 and give these talented young players big minutes.
