He also grabbed the loose ball near our line and took the ball from the short kick off. Much underrated.

And set up an important try even with a juggle. Garner I’m sure would have dummied and got tackled or passed it to row 12.

I believe you can afford to have both of them but we really need a Junior Paulo type to complement them. Imagine signing him and Paps 🥳

There is no way Seyfarth is better than Garner. It's a shame our team didn't perform better with Garner still at the club; he's going to kill it at Penrith unfortunately.
I still think we'll replace him well and play a better brand that will make us successful though.

I think Seyfarth has his strengths but Garner has more potential that we never really got to see for good periods.

Agree. Back in the good old days Jack Gibson had a similar guy called Steve Sharp at Parra. And we also had Steve Lavers at the Tigers.Very similar and never flash but you need some labourers on every site.

Yeah Seyfarth can tackle and has a good motor. But for the size of him , he just gets folded and manhandled every time he runs. Really needs to work on his strength in the off season to be a regular first grader imo.

I've seen the same thing happen in reserve grade though. He gets smashed but then gets back up and keeps going.

I can't see him ever being an impact prop but as a guy who goes all game and runs as hard in the 79th minute as at the 1st he is your man.

He is an example of an ineffective "pillow" prop, a kind the WT always had too many!
