I can understand that could be the case and don't blame him, but naturally i am hoping like everyone else we go ok and he will not want to leave

I for one love this as he brings experience, versatility, effort & a strong voice at training. If we have secured him on decent $$$, this is a very good club signing!

For those naysayers, don't forget coaches know a lot more about a player's value to the team than us and he was selected in the PMXIII so he is obviously highly regarded outside the club too.

If he reins in his hot-headed moments, he could be a very good hole-running backrower if not bench middle.

He gets criticised here no end. We have singed up a lot worse for a lot more $$$ in the past.
I see it as value for money signing.
IMO, less dollars for a longer term? Fair for both parties. The negotiated trade-off/calculated gamble as with all contracts I would imagine? In Richo/Benji we trust!

Thought he was solid last season in a team getting beat every week , if he brings it again this season with the additions we have in Hunt , May, Luai and co he could become a very good edge back rower

3yrs meh based on his time to date.
Must be a very favorable contract for the club.

I’m not his biggest fan but look he loves the club, is all heart, a fellow ranga, won’t be on huge amount and at worse is a fringe NRL footballer. All the top squads have a Seyfarth type player in the ranks. If he improves, plays on the edge and delivers then have zero doubts we get more value out of the deal.

One thing about Seyfarth- I don’t remember ever thinking that he didn’t put in 100% in games when many of his other teammates lacked effort. The guys improving each season and maybe with a few other leaders in the group he might just hit his straps.
