Agree, the epitome of a Wests Tigers player, both Red and Twaly were given their NRL starts with the club. When Twaly was coming up centimetres short of the line for 6 gruelling seasons, it was the coach and teammates who committed to carrying him over the line if need be.If you want to build a club culture, you need to sign culture players.
Twal & Seyfarth- for anyone that's ever been involved in a club environment- are your absolute A-Typical 'club men'. Guys that put club first.
I think it's a great signing & a better indication of the mindset the club is trying to grow. Less journeymen, more reliance on guys that 'are Wests Tigers types'.
You pay for the class players you don't have. You fill the other roles with guys that put in for the guys around them. Could be....'COULD BE'....one of the reasons guys like Adam Doueihi are liked by management.
When he finally scored his first try after 100 games even the opposition fans were overjoyed.
