Parra players would be easy targets after Monday when we belt them , Galvin for any one at Parra who fits a spot we need to fill
Backrow , Centre , they have some good ones

Seyfarth has energy, but gets wrapped up too often.

We need someone that can get their hands free for Bula or the centres to take advantage.

I would happily accept a swap deal with Manly. Brooks for Galvin. There would be a few details to sort (who keeps the bbq etc).

Of all the possibilities mentioned I think Olakau'atu would be the ideal pick up. A big, strong tackle busting second rower. Can't see this happening though. If the mail is that Parra is his destination then I would entertain Hopgood as a favourable option. He would certainly improve our team if we can get Latu fit and firing in the halves. Unfortunately I don't see a direct player swap as the likely outcome.

We already had a war chest to increase Galvin this & next year so it may give us the opportunity to secure 2 players we have been reportedly after in Kai Pearce-Paul & Kobe Hetherington.

Yes I agree with you BWG. I have long been a supporter of Kobe Hetherington. Think he is a great no-nonsense bone rattling footballer. KPP is being under utilised at the Knights. I would definitely take both of those guys on in a heartbeat.

Seibold has already come out and said Manlys not interested. I think if Gus was interested in him but this weeks events might of soured that a little. My guess is Parra is a sure thing but no one expected the massive blow up that’s happened. They probably thought they could shake him loose without a player in exchange.

I reckon it’s a fair chance he is related to Pita Godinet, wouldn’t think it’s that common of a surname.
I don’t think Phoenix ran the ball quite as hard this season as what he did when playing Harold Matts in 2024, so it will be very interesting to see how he goes now he is stepping up to Jersey Flegg.
He looks a talent, just a concern he’s quite small for an edge back rower at the moment, hoping he develops a similar style of play to Briton Nikora.

Funny how he didn’t meet with Richo regarding the contract offer.
I would put a blanket ban on dealing with or having any players associated with the Cove Agency.
I know we currently have a few left including Jahream, Tony Sukkar and the recently signed Phoenix Godinet, I would advise them all we are not having any communication with the Cove Agency moving forward, so the options are to either negotiate any new contracts or upgrades themselves, or get rid of the Cove Agency.

Yeah time to take a hard line on that rat's nest straight away, nip them in the bud.

If the gossip is true ,parra newcastle Tigers could do a swap ,We hold the ace in the pack and there is no need to pick the player we wish 4 a swap from either of those 2 clubs , yet assume it would be easier .I'm hanging on by a toe nail on player performances across all grades /clubs since league went techno( no suggestion or care factor on who to target.) Point being is, state what player /s we want from where and get newwie parra to wheel n deal on our behalf .

I don’t think he offers anything more than Seyfarth.
