It’s always reading player threads like this one. Go to the first couple pages when he debuted, and there is so much enthusiasm, but as the thread wears on, it the tone changes pretty dramatically.

And that's because the enthusiasm was only hype. Reality sets in.

One is a promising edge player with loads of potential.

The other should put on bulk and play like Nathan Brown.

It’s odd - he was a tank at one point when he was a kid.
Now he’s built like a basketball player…

I’m the same, put on 15-20 kg and just hurt people - he doesn’t lack ticker.

It carried on a while - wasn’t that long ago he was a damaging hole runner after running into a yawning gap one time, and then there was the ‘he must be an immortal, the warriors wanted him’ chat.

I don't know why he's talked up so much, the only time Seyfarth looks any good is when he comes on with 15 to go fresh, when the opposition is fatigued.

Any earlier and his performance is very close to being a plodder, I know that won't be popular, but it had to be said.

Good kid to have around the club, tries hard - local junior and all that…
But he’s a bottom end squadie for mine… and shouldn’t be top 17 at this clu at this time.
Could hide him in a stronger 17, but ours isn’t real strong - as we’re discovering.

Our squad isn’t strong enough, I can’t wait for the day when Seyfarth is playing ressies because that would tell me that finally our forward depth is looking NRL worthy.
