Alex Seyfarth #232

Good to see Alex get some credit for a real good performance. Every player needs some recognition after giving their all. Hopefully it will inspire some more good performances - rate him or not, we need him cause their dropping like flys.
He’s a middle forward now. 100%.

Preferably in short stints but we probably don’t have that luxury right now.

Good game from him and hopefully he’s not suspended.

After that performance I hope Shaun is prioritising the extension of Seyfarth. I know he still has 2.5 years on his contract, but we must be forward thinking and safeguard our biggest asset. Thankfully we have that Luai money, so plenty of cap space to throw at him. I suggest we start at $800K per year with origin bonuses included.

Not sure where Twal fits in all this when he gets back from injury. No way he can get back his spot now that King Seyfarth has arrived.

Luai only lifted yesterday because he was inspired by Seyfarth. This is true because my Uncle works at the NRL and he said that marketing executives at the broadcasting negotiations all want to make Alex the face of the game. How exciting.
Honestly, I would just give all of Luai's 1.2m to God Seyfarth.
As for Twal, just don't renew his contract and have Seyfarth start in two positions to cover for Twal.

Finally a bit of love here for Seyfarth!

I know he came up with a couple of big plays this week but I just feel like he always puts himself in the picture. You can only make tackles (even if they're high or hip drops) if you're there.
Plays with passion and not necessarily skill. That's why he is generally a liability yet can also have these great outings every now and then. TBF he is a decent bench option, especially on the extended bench we now have. I'm just pissed off about KPP being injured, he is incredible in defence, he just hits and sticks, the complete opposite to Seyfarth. I was ready to leave at half time and my kids made me stay....KPP out, just gave up 3 soft tries to lose the lead and running into the wind in the second half. So that was a great effort to come back twice in the second half to win the game.

Ive always been a Seyfarth fan. From the first time I saw him live. You dont get a perperctive on his work rate from the tv.
Benji gave him a massive rap on his cover defence in the presser too.
But I also noticed on the fox coverage Vossy said that he had heard that seyfarth was rated by his teammates ( or coaching staff, i cant remenber which) as the most likley to be a future coach. And that he was a great communicator on the field.
That , I guess , is the answer to the doubters on why he his picked every week.

Fair but I would have Sukkar at 2nd row and Seyfarth at lock TBH. He is the closest to what Twal provided.

Ethan Roberts the other backrower.

There’s glazing - then there’s whatever this is…
It’s good for a laugh, but please refrain from possible manifestation.
