definitely. Twal, doueihi, sione massive improvements.
also think twal being given the captaincy for the roosters game & more of a leadership role has been huge.

I think having Terrell May playing a similar role- big minutes, efficient tackling etc, took some of the workload off Alex.

Seemed to play faster this year- not bogged down in slogging it up. He's a good player. For years he has lead our defensive line speed.

The club should get Royce Hunt to do the extras with Terrell during the off season shock us all and come into 26 a new man.

Get in his ear Benji hype him up with your man management skills.

30 doesn't mean he's ready for the old man's home a lot of props are still going around at 35, JWH was still going strong at that age.

Before you say he was ready to retire before he came here, he has shown a glimpse of what he can do early in the season and is still showing some much needed aggression as per last game.

Trim him down and get him motivated, if he doesn't want to get with the program well onya way big fella.

Royce is a different beast though. You don't get the same play from him. We need more than 1 hitup in 15 minutes. But, what he did the last few rounds is fine- that's what you get.

He needs a wreckingball partner, or a hardhead, no nonsense aggressive beast to turn the momentum in games. Pole is probably the guy.

I assume Sione goes to prop with KPP coming in.

Mate everyone was happy with his first few games he even looked a bit trimmer and nearly ran down a winger, some suggested he was carrying niggles, but you can't use that as an excuse to put on the weight.

He could easily lose 8kg and still be big enough to intimidate the opposition and for mine play 15 mins both sides of half time, any less minutes is not much use to us

He just needs to find the fire in the belly to be more useful to the team let's hope he can find it over the summer.

Agree we need another impact prop to add to the pack, gut feeling Richo's out there looking right now.

Back on Twally. Super impressed with this season. He looks fitter. Is playing long minutes and has been poking his head through the line on a regular basis. He has definitely graduated from 'plodder class' to being a genuinely valuable prop.

Not sure how I feel about this one, I feel like Alex is a couple of head knocks away from being retired.... I'm keen to know the financials as if it was over 350k I would think it's bad business...

I am pleased with his loyalty and i hope he reaches the end of his contract without any more concussion issues but to be honest i do see problems ahead (no pun intended)

We need more of these. We have a bad reputation for not treating our long-serving players well. It's important that we start getting more guys either finishing their careers here or at least leaving amicably.
