All good at the club says Chairman

The other concerning things about Lee's comments is Pascoe was front and centre when the club decided to turn it's back on juniors. A bewildering and incredibly poor and unjustifiable option. He just accepted that we won't invest in juniors, won't develop talent and will only look to recruit from outside the club. This call was made on his watch and has put us back years.
Just because we're reverting back to a previous system, and a system that nearly all other clubs use, doesn't made Madge, Hartigan or Pascoe geniuses. They've just gone back to the classic, default model.
We're currently 6 months in to the latest rebuild. Anyone can steer the ship from here. We need the right people making the right calls on you is steering the ship. Seeing these people have repeatedly failed, i don't think they should be entrusted.

We’re at least 2 seasons into the rebuild, and it’s been a hard slog because of the previous poor decision making of the board, which they have admitted to in some small part by agreeing to take Sheens back. My hope is that the process continues and covid restrictions don’t slow our progress.
If anyone is to go it should be Pascoe and his supporters at board level.

delusional Lee at it again. for a bloke that's a self-professed tigers diehard he seems like he's been around for 5 minutes the way he talks in the media.

we haven't finished in the top half of a salary cap-controlled competition for 10 years. it doesn't matter if it was the previous administration to blame, that is inexcusable. due to that lack of success, our "perception" as he calls it is at an all time low. we can talk about the youngsters coming through and the Centre of Excellence all we want, but there's no identity, no pride in the jersey, and it's been the same since 2012. I worry that Sheens will be conducting the review. he'll see the football department and the new facilities that he never had access to and think it's all sunshine and daisies. would much rather it be conducted by a truly external source. the club reeks of failure, it has for years. fix it.

Get your point but I'm not sure how much weight that this is a supposed "salary-cap controlled comp" carries. Certain clubs are still being allowed to operate on a different level to others. Really galling to hear flogs such as Crawley harp on about "Latrell signed with Souths for $400k per year less than what Tigers were offering". If Latrell isn't getting that extra $400k tipping into his pocket by Russell Crowe and his dealings then I would gladly commit to being a eunuch for the rest of my days.

Getting off topic though. I thoroughly agree with you that our club is garbage and there is no light at the end of the tunnel for the foreseeable future.
