Is it not on the NRL to investigate to see if there is any incentive from Manly to the player for him to seek an early release? If Manly are offering to pay Josh A more if he gets an early release then surely there are grounds to do a full investigation and put a stop once and for all to this process. Its so unprofessional. Amateur hour in the NRL sometimes

Lee is attending a meeting with V'Landys in the next week or two to highlight this anomoly. V'Landy's has been qouted as supporting Lee on this issue.

Aloiai to me is not the sharpest tool in the shed and neither is his manager. Do they really think with everything that has happened lately that WT were just going to accommodate a release?

If they were smart, Aloiai should have just come out and announced that he signed with Manly from 22’ onwards & is really happy with the decision his made regarding his future and that of Manly’s . Then at the same time also not given us an opportunity to negotiate with him.

Had he done that, he would have rubbed management up the wrong way for starters and they would have probably released him early. Especially seeing that WT have a player now occupying salary cap who is now leaving & plainly doesn’t want to be there.

He also could have said his happy to play the last 12 months with us and used reverse psychology.
Saying something like “ it will be a nice way to end my time at the Tigers by spending my last 12 months with my mates here”

Ivan Cleary got a quick release. Ivan said he was committed, he said he has a contract to honour etc bla bla bla.

Aloiai and his manager have a lot to learn!

But I'm not so sure it will be ignored, for the simple fact that they're paying so much for him. Do you really want to fork out 700k for a knob?

I'm a little concerned with some of the stuff Blore does/likes on Instagram. I think it'd be to his benefit if someone sat down with him and tried to rein in his social media habits.
It's easy to make yourself look like a nitwit.

He’s on around $350k apparently. We offered him $450k to stay here, he demanded over $600k which manly are offering for 2022 and 2023. That’s what Chammas has said anyway.

He’s on around $350k apparently. We offered him $450k to stay here, he demanded over $600k which manly are offering for 2022 and 2023. That’s what Chammas has said anyway.

I can't blame him for signing, that's good dollars for him, I wouldn't pay it

The way he's handled the 2021 aspect has been terrible if we believe what is being said. If he and/or his manager handled it in a respectful way to the Tigers, maybe it would have worked out but hard to see that now

Couldn't help but laugh at the last bit.
I actually feel awful about a post I wrote on them as it's not really their fault and they've always been pretty respectful to the club - find they mostly act with integrity.

Two completely different attitudes. It’s clear from one poster on here that Reynolds doesn’t like Madge, yet apart from the H/T stuff up at Manly he has been nothing but professional in his public stance towards the club. Put that against JA and his dummy spit.
Personally I think JA is just filthy Packer won the lotto and thought he’d be able to pull the wool over our eyes too. I think the extension offer was more than fair and he is more than entitled to move on to the ridiculous money on offer by Manly....... after his current contract requirements have been fulfilled.
