God get it right.
Yes we do it but “With permission” from their existing clubs to negotiate.
Can you get that this is not the case here???

They could negotiate for 2022 17 days ago. It looks like he has agreed and now wants out for next year. Isnt that the same as us signing Lauire for 22 and now he wants out for next year?

I know you're a glass half-empty sort of guy but they're not remotely similar. I don't really need to explain do I?

If you dont mind.

OK. JA wants out of his contract for 2021 and has started behaving like a brat to get his way a la Matterson. As far as I'm aware Daine Laurie has not been announced as signing for WT from 2022 although rumours are saying that he has agreed to terms. Laurie has not made any demands of Penrith as far as we are aware nor has he declared he'll never wear the jersey again. I'd imagine WT would like to have him for next year and will negotiate with Penrith to that end. Penrith can agree to a release if they choose. This is similar to Wests trying, in vain, to get Stefano from the Eels this year. Parra were within their rights to refuse.

Oh, so Laurie's and Alioa's actions are poles apart. No argument there. I meant us wanting a player to leave a club early on his contract is the same as what other clubs are doing.

The argument is there should be no commercial benefit from leaving early.

If tigers are increasing his offer this yes I see how it’s hypocritical.

Which they just did with ado Carr anyway.

That's ace, such a good idea. Membership day you come down to meet the players and Josh comes around to your house to tidy up whilst you are gone.

Just as long as he doesn't cut your grass!!!!!!!!

Cmon now, he’s a good Christian boy isn’t he?

Not after his comments about WT.

Really disappointed in Josh here, I thought he was someone that believed in what was happening at the club. To see him disrespect the entire club in this way as really shocked me and the carry on on insta just seals it. I don't think we will be seeing his mate around here too much for a while.

Tyran Smith was a great player. In a CONTRACT year. The first two seasons of a contract he used to dog it .

Something his new club always found out.

Doesn't seem like much has changed, all about the coin.

Ok, maybe we're not that far apart. I agree we would want players to come earlty but to the best of my knowledge we would do it honorably through negotiation with the other club rather than by having the player behave like a spoiled brat.

I suppose the point people are trying to make is not so much about wanting someone earlier than the start date of a new contract - it’s more about the way the player, their manager and the two clubs go about it.
In my opinion, Josh’s example is the worst. Laurie if it is to believed is being done correctly, JAC situation was ok in my mind as well. Again if it’s true, manly enticed him to break his contract by stating his 2022/2023 was contingent on him coming next year.....

Absolutely, that all i was pointing out, Everyone does it. Josh is now embarrassing

Wow I actually liked Josh, that has changed dramatically for me after how childish & the way he is acting over this.

Suspension without pay would stuff Josh up big time. You play to be paid or bad luck.

Very weird from Josh, it really seems like someone has hacked his life and social media account... the way he is acting is soo out of character.
Over on the silvertails page there are some fans who aren’t completely impressed by his antics.

Absolutely. Don’t even want a trade. Will be good for the club moving forward if we stick to our guns and just flat out refuse the release

We're on the same page. There's nothing to say Manly have asked him to act this way though. Feels like its just his reaction.

I hope there's more articles about his new meme tomorrow, hell I bet even Gallen would rip into him about disrespecting clubs and what not.

Oh no look at his insta story.

Don’t have Insta. What does it say?

It's a photoshop of him mowing a lawn saying he will "I'll make super, It's a super fast track boys"

What does that even mean?

I think it's a pathetic comeback from Aloiai to Lee H's comment that he can mow the lawns at Campbelltown and Leichhardt if he refuses to play,

I think the confusion was because Josh Aloiai is that dumb he originally wrote it as 'I'll make super' instead of I'll make sure. It didn't make sense how he first wrote it, but he since fixed it.

Can see Billy Walters asking to be released soon to join his father at Brisbane too.

And i'm sure if he and Brisbane went about the right way and negotiated a release I'm sure we would release him. Kevvie knows how the game is played. Dessie is an ego maniac who thinks he just needs to snap his fingers. Canterbury is still cleaning up his mess.

Management are looking like the NRL equivalent of a park footy side right now.

Lee Hagipantelis needs to shut up and stick to chasing ambulances rather than offering a public commentary on the Aloiai situation.

Aloiai has performed for us and deserves some respect.

Either upgrade the bloke's contract or do a deal quietly and let him leave if someone can show us the money.

Turning it into a public drama does the club no favours.

Aloiai won't get any support from wests tigers supporters after he made comments about never wearing our colours again and wanting an immediate release
Aloiai and any other player should realise how lucky they are to be playing NRL
There are only 16 Nrl teams and 13 starting spots in each team
They earn far more than the Average pearson in this country
As far as I am concerned they all owe the game and the clubs that give them the opportunity
They have a lifestyle most would dream of
Yet we continue to see players shafting clubs and supporters for more $
I have lost ant respect for Josh now
He would have been better to keep his mouth shut and play out his contract
If he leaves after that for the money then best wishes to him
By to speak the way he did urks me
I'm sick of self centred Aholes that think the club owes them
If he is going to [This word has been automatically removed] and complain then make an example of him
