Yes we do it but “With permission” from their existing clubs to negotiate.
Can you get that this is not the case here???
They could negotiate for 2022 17 days ago. It looks like he has agreed and now wants out for next year. Isnt that the same as us signing Lauire for 22 and now he wants out for next year?
I know you're a glass half-empty sort of guy but they're not remotely similar. I don't really need to explain do I?
If you dont mind.
OK. JA wants out of his contract for 2021 and has started behaving like a brat to get his way a la Matterson. As far as I'm aware Daine Laurie has not been announced as signing for WT from 2022 although rumours are saying that he has agreed to terms. Laurie has not made any demands of Penrith as far as we are aware nor has he declared he'll never wear the jersey again. I'd imagine WT would like to have him for next year and will negotiate with Penrith to that end. Penrith can agree to a release if they choose. This is similar to Wests trying, in vain, to get Stefano from the Eels this year. Parra were within their rights to refuse.
Oh, so Laurie's and Alioa's actions are poles apart. No argument there. I meant us wanting a player to leave a club early on his contract is the same as what other clubs are doing.

That's ace, such a good idea. Membership day you come down to meet the players and Josh comes around to your house to tidy up whilst you are gone.
Just as long as he doesn't cut your grass!!!!!!!!
Cmon now, he’s a good Christian boy isn’t he?

The argument is there should be no commercial benefit from leaving early.
If tigers are increasing his offer this yes I see how it’s hypocritical.
Which they just did with ado Carr anyway.

Not like we’re gonna win the premiership next season. Doubt we get a decent player in return either

Ok, maybe we're not that far apart. I agree we would want players to come earlty but to the best of my knowledge we would do it honorably through negotiation with the other club rather than by having the player behave like a spoiled brat.

It's a photoshop of him mowing a lawn saying he will "I'll make super, It's a super fast track boys"
What does that even mean?
I think it's a pathetic comeback from Aloiai to Lee H's comment that he can mow the lawns at Campbelltown and Leichhardt if he refuses to play,

Aloiai has performed for us and deserves some respect.
Either upgrade the bloke's contract or do a deal quietly and let him leave if someone can show us the money.
Turning it into a public drama does the club no favours.

Absolutely. Don’t even want a trade. Will be good for the club moving forward if we stick to our guns and just flat out refuse the release
