First things first, I don't want Josh to leave, I honestly believe he is our future club captain. But in saying that, if he has to go, we should get Schuster or Cust, they are the only ones we need and the only two that have a decent future in the game. At a stretch young Hopaote, but that brings it's own luggage that we don't need.
But manly won't let those two go, so we shouldn't let Josh go, it's a moot point.
I also hear a lot of bring Sirro back, that is rubbish. Firstly the paying the son for the deeds of the father is a recipe for disaster and don't forget how the dad carried on when the young bloke went to manly and how disloyal and disrespectful we were. Besides young Sirro never played a decent game for us (yes I'm generalizing) only started playing consistent outside DCE and his career was on the line.

Suddenly, i guarantee the heat would be back on the club as the big horrible people forcing him out against his will. Its smart business on his part.

But he doesnt have a brain, he doesnt have any self respect and he has little regard for the game and the club obviously. He is being very poorly advised and thats worse, because he is too dumb to see something right infront of his face. Perception is reality.

There's something not right at the club because Lee, Pascoe, Hartigan and Maguire seem to be on different planets, communication between the 4 appears optional because publicly it's all over the place the grubby media are loving it. You just have to look through the forum and see everyone's concerns about what's happening with retention and recruitment so you'd have to say that those 4 have differing views on how to go forward.
The club needs a new motto

True, this is on the club too, offer a bloke 450 when he’s worth 500 and then he looks at all the blokes in the club on 600+ and none of them are having a go like he is. Of course he wants out.

I still don't believe that it's purely a $$ thing. Clearly Aloiai is unhappy with the club about something. Yeh it could be the money, but somewhere we are letting our players down. It could be the lack of success, frustration at changes, frustration at not getting TPAs, lack of assistance outside of footy anything. I do deal with Pacific Islanders at my job and one thing I've realised is that they value a lot of other things over money. It's definitely a generic statement but we really need to have a very deep look inside our structures.

Yea , because he wants to be captain and no one likes him . And when the players picked best and fairest it was basically a popularity contest , as most of these things are because on the field , you’re just worried about your job , rather than who the best player is . He was dirty he got 1 vote because he deserves more ! And the playing group was off him . I bet in large part because he was best mates with Matto . It’s how these things go unfortunately

Maybe , I’d heard a lot of it on the grape vine , but purely hearsay really . Even if half of that’s true , it is what it is. By the way , I’m not even into Aloiai about it . I’ve played in teams where I hated the core group, thought they were a bunch of lazy A - holes , glory hounds . And the negative feeling would have been mutual for sure.

And I’ve been on teams where I was ? in the core group. Sometimes you can stay at the same club , and that can ebb and flow .
As with most jobs , and personality melting pots, you can definitely be close with someone then hate thier guts somewhere down the future .

From the rest of your post, it appears you are assuming that Maguire said something untoward to Aloiai, and that what was said differs with what Lee, Pascoe, and Hartigan are saying. How do you know this?
Perhaps Aloiai said something untoward to Maguire that Maguire reacted to.
