An exercise in positivity.

OK as expected Al Schirnacks out, so B.Ryan….Ive got my eye on you!

Poor Beau, first game back…..lucky its just the positves that will be written. Hope he's fit, think we need him.

Ill go with McKinnon

Ha Payten's out. Next target Robbie Farah, especially his defence. Never see him involved in defence, even though he racks up huge tackle counts. And also, to see how many times he scoots out of dummy half effectively as these days, he rarely gets a penalty or breaks the line from dummy half.

Beau Ryan eh?
Hmmmm  Ive really painted myself into a corner here huh?
Well stats say no missed tackles, he caught a bomb on the thrid bounce nicely - couldve got it on the second though, made one nice run, was first there to congratulate Moltzen for one of his tries, has nice yellow boots.
Next.

Farah

- Always tried to be in the game. (usually I never see him involved, I dont why now 😕)
- Many dummy-half runs.
- Tackled heaps.
- Nice attempt at 40/20.
- A solid game.

I watched Galloway….

Made a lot of yards - made quite a few important tackles.

There were negatives in his game but they're not for this thread.

Moltzen played well in support, bringing himself into the attacking line and paid handsome dividends with two tries. Contested one high ball under pressure and won it.

That's about where it ends.

I'm going to watch Heighington, because, while I think he's solid, I don't get all the worshipping he gets on here.

are you serious ? rhino is one of our forwards every week , and for the past 3 seasons … seriously what games do people watch......

This one and the Farah one…...must be watching a different team to me 😱pen_mouth:

Simon Dwyer, my tackle count was 12 in the first half and 17 in the second although he switched to playing on the left side in the second half. Lui used him as a decoy 5 times which resulted in him taking 2 hit ups in the first half and 4 in the second half. Under used in attack IMO and a couple of times he was in the opposition 20m area (I know he has a tendancy to drop the ball in the past maybe that's why Lui missed him). 3 missed tackles. He was involved in the tackle when the Broncs scored their second try which the replay didn't clearly show whether Alex Glenn put the ball on the line or before the line IMO however Suttor sent it upstairs even though he had an opinion!! Actually, on the refs, Archer must be preparing for retirement by not being too involved and Suttor- what a pain. Two things IMO about Dwyer from this game, one- he is not used enough in attack and two- he should inject himself more in other words, if he is not getting much ball, go after it also chase a bit more, looks to lack energy at times.

I know, it's hilarious. Tackles his backside off every week and runs as hard as he can every hit up. Unless you make three linebreaks a game some people think your average. FMD!

Well, it seems I've upset a few people on here because I don't hero worship Heighington.

The thing I noticed about Heighington last night was his talk - he was constantly talking, probably more so than - dare I say anything less than glowing about our captain and 5/8??? - Farah. He did made a lot of tackles; didn't see anything much in attack though, but in his defence, there wasn't much to talk about in regards to attack from anyone …

Glad I chose him to watch, but I still don't get the total worship ... maybe I need to watch ihim more closely in a few more games.

Because he rarely has a bad game He's at a million miles an hour every game And you mentioned his talk With the complete lack of communication out there at times it was embarassing . Brown getting caught on sixth tackle Robbie five metres out from oppositions line and doing a 360 because no one was organized . Anyone at the game notice the lack of talk from the tigers last night ??

Yes Happy, the commentators on nine mentioned the Tigers' lack of communication a couple of times last night. Back on Heighington, I think he will make an excellent captain one day.
