Anasta looks forward to heartland debut

I actually always liked Anasta. One of the most honest players going around as testified by his constant bitching at the refs, something most people hated from him but I always understood it, the Roosters were absolutely reamed at times over the past two seasons and ever since he got penalised for being punched in the mouth he has had no time for their BS. He will also be a fantastic analyst commentator post football unlike some of the pea brains we have to listen to. He's more of a Sterlo and less of a Daley when it comes to analysis and he really knows every player in the NRL. A real student of Rugby League.

He is also one of the only players left in the NRL that hasn't got a losing record in State of Origin and is an underrated rep footballer that probably only got dropped because of the insane hatred people have of him born out of jealousy.

Heart, passion and competitor sim up braith.
We need him, and his smart footy brain.
**Ten times the player heigno was**.

That is pathetic & cheap comment, Heigno was a great club man, and should be treated with respect.
Not his fault he was pushed out the door. Unnecessary cheap shot.

Braith Anasta is exactly the type of players wests-tigers have needed since end of 2009 season. it is very easy to speculate, but if we all sit back and take a good hard look at how 2010, especially how 2011 endedI know we cannot change what has occured, I will go out on a limb and state, if he was in team, he would have given warriors not a chance in hell of being able to get anywhere near wests-tigers end of the field in the dying stages of the game.

.I do believe he will have a very good calming effect on the players.

can't wait for this to happen this season, and we will see wests-tigers constantly shut the opposition out and the game down.

I always applauded his signing even though I hated what sheenius was going to do with him.

He is a tough, thoughtful, skilful and calm competitor - he will not lose his head under pressure. He will be awesome for Benji and Rob just as he was in 2010 for Pearce and Carney. Carney won the Dally M but I always thought it was Braith who carried that side that year…especially through the finals campaign.

My thoughts exactly
