Anasta wasted

First player picked in my team.
he WILL get better.
it wasnt him that let us down.

Not hard to improve from doing nothing.

For example, People here saying Bwaith played well.. Lets have a look at the Good Old stats...

Hitups: 3
All Runs (including Hitups): 5
All Metres Run: 42 ( Compared to 80 Last week)
Tackles: 21 (Second Least His Made this Season)
Kicking Metres: 0

Statistically this was worse then last week, I Didnt get to watch the game, so im sure he must have done something else amazing to warrant that his improving.

Honestly he's done nothing for us and i'm not a Braith hater but our left edge defence is rubbish and he just doesn't do enough in attack.We need guys like Watmough and Stewart to hit it up hard and tackle with some aggresion.

You've beaten the Warriors by 2 (gee something to be proud of :unamused: ,and beaten the Broncos by 8 and they look as bad as us so far this season)

Anasta was bought for his playmaking & leadership..he provides very little of neither.As a secondrower he has low work rate,weak metres gained & is an ineffective tackler.
Only a complete imbecile could see that he be better off where his skills are better utilised..at Parra(or anywhere quite frankly other than WT).
Otherwise he's finishing his career in reserve grade
Just a dumb purchase,so Potter is obliged to keep playing him until he decides he dead wood

I think Anasta is a waste investment that the team ever made. He didn't play well for Roosters for how long and we think that we can change that it not going to happend. Since we have him now might aswell put him on interchange since he didn't really bring much to the team anyhow. I hope there is an get out contract for anasta maybe we can swap him for Dugan. The team might not need full-back but atleast he would bring something to the table ahead of anasta. I think raiders needed someone like anasta ahead of us , they needed someone who had experience and can stand up and lead their team as there is no leadership players in raiders teams. :slight_smile:

I thought Anasta was alright last night. Made some good covering tackles, took a few good hitups with defenders. He's not a metre-eater, you can't judge him on that.

Anasta is being played in the wrong position and has totally taken a back seat to Farah, Marshall and Miller when it comes to calling the plays. Up until now he has spent all of his career as either a ball playing 5/8 or lock calling the shots, but now he is being expected to play the role of a big tackling, metre-making, hole running second rower - it's so far removed from his natural game that it's just not right. Not right for Anasta, not right for the team, not right for the fans. I don't know why Potter and co can't see this. I credited him with more common sense.

Anasta is a weak option.
With Anasta & Fulton starting we have possibly the smallest second row in the comp.
No doubt, Fulton is all heart and tries his hardest and can cover many positions but definitely lacks size.

Give Anasta a go at centre. Seriously, he is likely to preform better than Ayshford. Then again I don't expect this to happern because Potter is not an imaginative coach, unfortunately for the Tigers.
