Haha his no chance there are heaps in front of him.

I wouldn't be too quick to write him off given a ball hasn't been kicked this season yet.

The way i mean it is there is way better fowards in the nrl that still didnt make it for nsw last year and one of them is currently with us and thats Aaron Woods. So there are heaps of fowards who should be play for nsw before him from all the other 16 clubs.

I'm sure if he was still wearing a Tigers jersey you'd have a different opinion

Good luck to the guy. He should still be with us

I agree, but unfortunately he's not. Hopefully he continues to mature on and off the field and gets himself a start. He could be anything if he works hard.

Like who?

I'm with tigers rule here so I'll have a crack

grant
tamou
woods
**merrin
Galloway
weyman**
Douglas
**Brett white
king (not imo but the selectors )**
tolman

that ignores the likes of Gallen and creagh who were used there last year

Cant agree with even half of that…**bold** not up to it

That said....I think AF is at least another season away from Origin if at all....he'd need a stellar season this year to come into calculations

I might pick Fifita ahead of Galloway but there's no way he should play Origin before Woods

anyway good luck to him

I didnt even rate him when he was with us. We still have way better fowards comming from the 20s to be honest.

For me the jury was nd is out on fifita, sometimes i watch and think he is so talented others i think he no good at all just running sideways pushing passes and shooting out of the line looking for a big hit

Origin should be between Sam Williams and Adam Reynolds for no. 7 and Josh Reynolds and Carney for no. 6\. If Maloney and Pearce go good in club level together we might also see them in Origin.

Fafita went ok last season, as some players do when they go to a new club.
up to him this season to do it again.
can he consistently perform at a level that will get him selected, for his club, possibly, for origin who knows.

**players get talked up in off season, and sometimes fail to reach expectations.**

One thing that 2012 should have taught all of us is that in football talk is the cheapest commodity.

If he earns it good luck to him.

Fifita will definitely have a decent pack around him this year… Gibbs, Gallon, Lewis, Heighno will at least try his arse off.

**Fifita another forward who has grown a leg after leaving the Tutelage of Sheens** - who was a forward himself, so you'd think he should know how to coach them!

Can't agree with that. Fifita didn't play any better last season than what he did with us. Played a bit more game time but nothing has changed, he is still pretty inconsistant. His slow, lazy defence would see him struggle at Origin level IMO.

Most players are on track at this stage of the year…that'll change when the games start.

He does have it in him, hopefully he can show it soon.

agree with your first point , all the players this time of year everyone has never been faster or stronger and my personal favorite "training the house down" so the c9aching staff is "expecting big things"
no one has a bad game in the off season

Disagree.
He learnt to rely less on the fend. He played much much more direct - a lot less sideways

I think he may have had less impact as a result of playing a new more direct style, this however I think will benefit him much more in the long term….its a new style he's clearly been taught/directed to play
