It's only early days but Fifita is looking good out there and he wants to be out there. He'll only get stronger and fitter too which is a good thing. Hopefully his brother David can knuckle down and show some good form too.

FIFITA guys. How hard is it to spell his name?

(I'm a journalist so forgive the spelling corrections).

And yes he was very good again last night, his fitness is a concern as he seems to run out of puff after 10 or 15 minutes but he will only improve.

I just hope he isn't dropped when Fulton comes back.

Edited his name Hybrid

I would suggest Fitzy will be dropped as he is only getting minimal gametime. Fulton will tussle it out with Payten for a starting spot and whichever player comes off the bench will mean Fitzy goes to Wests or BRET. A bench of Cayless/Moors, Fifita, Payten/Fulton and Flanagan makes the most sense to me at this stage.

He must remain in the team.

Holds his own, has no fear and on what he has shown thus far, deserves to remain on the bench ahead of any other forward.

He's done a great job the last 2 weeks. Just what we need off the bench. Hopefully, he can keep improving and we can have some awesome strike power off the bench.

Hopefully Sheens doesn't drop him for Fulton next week,we all know who needs to make for Boze, lets hope Sheens does too.

He's taken his opportunity for sure. Done what i think most of us were hoping he would, bring his 2009 form to the top grade. Just hoping he keeps his head screwed on.

its time to rotate some players out off the bench and bring some State Cup guys in. Andrew must stay and i would look at bringing in David and seeing how he performs.

The only problem being here is David has not been fortunate enough to get that first offseason training under his belt as a full-timer like his brother. The difference between them in their builds is becoming quite prominent now.

I think Fifita will be there for a while. Sheens does like to blood young players but in this case I think Fifita will be on the bench as long as he continues to show the same form.

Where it's warranted he'll stay. So far he's held his own and as you said mate, Sheens hasn't been shy to blood young players and until he shows signs of struggling he may well stay.

If form warrants it I would be prepared to do this. However, I think our bench is starting to come together. Both Flanagan and Cayless are starting to develop. Bring Fults back into the starting side and play Payto off the bench (Fitzy's spot) and I think you have a very strong side. I wouldnt be making any other changes. I would be okay with trying a young guy like Pritchard on Brown's wing but Brown did enough to warrant him staying.

I can't wait until he plays a few more games and we start getting some second phase play out of him, he has a terrific offload but i'm sure Sheens has instructed him to put it away for awhile while he finds his feet in the top grade.
He doesn't look out of place and is only going to improve, could be real value to us this year.

does anyone on the forum believe that fitzhenry has one interchange spot sewn up for the season?

I don't… he was brought for depth not a spot in the 17\. This weekend really should see him drop to 18th man... i hope!
