Andrew Ryan

You can guarantee that Folkes, Ryan's old coach and friend would have been on the lookout for him for a sport with WT next year.

Which makes me think that if he goes anywhere, it will be St George…...

The wretched refuse of your teeming shore.

I lift my lamp beside the golden door!"...

Great poem, not sure the writer ever intended it to become the basis of a footy teams recruitment policy though.

hahahahaHhahahah

Today on nine , when Danny weidler asked him what his options were he said , retirement or ESL . Thank god he ain't going to be a WT

My only reasoning is that we will play either Ellis or Blair at Prop or even Ryan at Prop . That is the only thing that makes sense to me . But what is common sense to Happy and what is common sense to Tim Sheens is poles apart usually .

Been watching Ryan on the Dogs games since our "interest"was announced-at 32 is a meagre shadow of the player he once was.Little wonder why thr Dogs cant punt him fast enough,& his old alma mater(eels)dont wanna know about him
Has no go forward, misses tackles regularly..offers nothing but "experience" as Im sure Sheens wld say
But our forward pack already has 5 experienced guys in Blair,Galloway,Ellis,Farah & Hino in their mid late 20s,most of whom have played at rep level…?
This one is rite up there with Sheens dumbest signings of all yime,& believe me,it has an awful lot to beat
After 2 wingers on the bench last week,we can officially conclude Sheens has totally lost it

Rightly or wrongly, the Bulldogs are in the Bottom 8 this year mainly due to inconsistant performances by thier forwards. One thing is for certain with Andrew Ryan, he doesnt let the Bulldogs down and he still gets through a mountain of work with no fuss. He is probably thier most consistant forward and the Bulldogs are foolish to let him go as they are bringing in a new coach.

Rugby League is a professional sport and isnt just played over 80 minutes on a Sunday afternoon… Having a player like Andrew Ryan around the playing group during Training and Game Preperation will be a great benefit to the younger boys in our squad.

If he comes cheap, he will offer more!!!
